Amanda Bethany Green is a lovely, proper English woman that has come to Fort Brunsett to run a record store and work at the local paper. This is, of course, a rather silly story. With obvious charm and more than her fair share of credentials, it's clear Green has ended up here, in Fort Brunsett and Tamarack Falls, under some abnormal circumstances. Running away, hiding, swearing off her old life... whatever the case, she is here now.
♪ Majesty Records - Green owns it. A record store in Nowhere, Vermont. Hopefully she's got a second job.
♪ Author - Some seven years back, Green published her first book, titled Just A Fortnight. It's a gonzo-style story of Amanda's year spent "touring" with a series of artists, all starting with a trip Bruges that was absolutely, positively going to last "just a fortnight". It's generally received as sexy, sensual, and fun, with a tinge of heartache, yet is decidedly not going down as one of Western civilization's great works. It's a fun read, with a few life lessons, and has inspired many a young person to throw caution to the wind and take a trip. Green herself describes it as "amusing rubbish".
♪ Tamarack Times - Green has written for a plethora of venues, and produced a regular column for the Boston Globe for a few years. Having left all that behind (which, why?), she has taken a job at the Tamarack Times. Officially covering arts and entertainment, culture, and lifestyle, Green is one of few reporters, and tends to write about anything and everything.
♪ Radio DJ - Green does a segment on WFBR every Friday titled "New Music Friday". Most everyone in the greater Fort Brunsett are knows her delightfully English voice.
♪ Vampires - She knows one? Knew one? It's a closely kept secret, but someone who knows that world might know her.
♪ Magic - Just for fun, right? Magic's not real. Green is definitely not a witch. Probably just some tarot cards and burning candles...
