Time It Took Us To Where The Water Was

Etsy is a Sacred Courier who was previously of Maine. She gained the nickname 'Etsy' a long time ago and it's stuck through a handful of years and countries. She has found a new pod and someone to keep her from floating away and wanders around with her mrbl and her sash. A Mentor of the Greenies, a Watcher, an Escape Artist, a pretty piece of detritus, both more and less than she seems.

OOC Note: Esther's speech patterns can be OOCly frustrating. I know that as a player, and am willing to work around them via some of the means that exist for workaround. If her speech patterns cause OOC inability to communicate, or disrupt your ability to RP, please. Let me know.

What The Water Gave Us

  • Courier - She delivers things.
  • Mermaid - She swims almost compulsively.
  • Flowers - She grows them, sometimes on herself.
  • Food - Feed a mermaid, have a friend for life. Or until she gets hungry again.
  • Fame - Among Lost, She is a known Escape Artist (Fame 2) and is also known for her Oracular Ability (also Fame 2).

Lost & Lost-Adjacent

Drifted Away

Let The Only Sound Be The Overflow

  • Suzanne Vega - Undertow (the water is so hungry)
Once I thought only tears could make us free
Salt wearing down to the bone
Like sand against the stone
Against the shoreline
I am friend to the undertow
I take you in, I don't let go
And now I have you
Summoned by drum rolling surf
As laughing fish compel
The young boy woken in me
By clanging diving bell
Breakers pillow fight the shore
She wriggles free in the tide
I'm locked in adult land
Back in the mirror she slides
Waving with comb in hand
I was lucky to remain beguiled
Grown to child since mermaid
'Cause she's a cruel mistress
And the bargain must be made
But oh, my love, don't forget me
When I let the water take me
So, lay me down
Let the only sound
Be the over flow
We could do revenge, revenge, revenge
Revenge together, together, together
We could take revenge, revenge, revenge
Revenge is sweet

Lay Me Down
