Overview
| Before he was taken Jon came from a shitty rundown house with his mom, his dad, and his kid brother Matty. They tried to keep their old man happy but, you know how that can go. Typical story of an abusive asshole whooping on the kids as it goes. Jon did what he could to protect his little brother. Sometimes that was not possible. He started fights with his step-dad just to make him forget Matty was there. In the end Jon had a plan: Get smart and get the fuck out.
Well he did. Just not like he planned on.
Jon grew up hard and tough. The need to protect his brother and enduring his childhood had him grow up to be one stalwart sunnova bitch. He graduated from Highschool and had the grades to attend the University on a partial athletic scholarship. Which would be great if some goddamned Gentry didn't have other plans.
He still works the docks and the family warehouses. Contention these days comes from his loyalties to the family, and being told he's turning his back on them by trying to be 'too good for them'. Still, the skillz that pay the bills are what gets him through a lot of things. He's made a lot of compromises for taking care of his family. How many more he'll have to make is uncertain.
