High Voltage is not only a group of survivors, but a group that wants others to survive as well, against all odds. They believe in facing the odds, whatever they be, head on. They believe in taking risks, sometimes calculated, sometimes not, in order to gain freedom over what binds them, and to help others find their own freedom.
They may or may not have ever bigger plans. Plans aside, they have a few core values.
- No man left behind. This extends past their Motley. They will never abandon another Lost in the Hedge. Those they mistrust may be bound, gagged, hogtied, and who knows what else, but the Motley won't simply leave them there to be Taken again.
- Never stop learning. You may be the best fighter out there, but what happens if you encounter a complex lock? You may be the most charismatic person there is, but what happens when you have to fight? Members of High Voltage believe that everyone has a skillset, but in order to survive, one must expand. Sharing knowledge and training each other is a thing.
- Never say die. Member of High Voltage do not give up. 'Nuff said.
- The ultimate goal. Everyone who joins High Voltage has one thing in common. The exact details are kept secret, but there are rumors of automaton armies and deep Hedge expeditions. Whether those are true, well, who knows what they're really up to?
