Overview
Cyril Fournier is originally the son of immigrant parents from France that arrived in America during the early 1950's. It was an interesting and sometimes awful time for everyone. He was afforded what little luxury his parent's could provide, but was able to work through school and obtain his medical license. Finally, through years of study and work under other doctors, he was able to be certified as an Internist. It was at this point he found his wife, married her and they moved to the upper northeastern united states as part of a grant program meant to help pay off his debts. In exchange for working in a rural area health department, the government would forgive some part of the debt associated with his schooling. This is how a man like Cyril Fournier ended up in Tamarack Falls.
