Overview
Cyril Fournier is originally the son of immigrant parents from France that arrived in America during the early 1950's. It was an interesting and sometimes awful time for everyone. He was afforded what little luxury his parent's could provide, but was able to work through school and obtain his medical license. Finally, through years of study and work under other doctors, he was able to be certified as an Internist. It was at this point he found his wife, married her and they moved to the upper northeastern united states as part of a grant program meant to help pay off his debts. In exchange for working in a rural area health department, the government would forgive some part of the debt associated with his schooling. This is how a man like Cyril Fournier ended up in Tamarack Falls.
Actually, Tamarack Falls wasn't terrible as far as Cyril was concerned. It was quiet and that was a nice change from the bustle of a city like New York or Rhode Island. Being able to settle in, go to restaurants without having to call ahead and drive to work without commutes into the dead of night were all things that he enjoyed. The scenery was also a nice bonus because who doesn't enjoy mountains, trees and fresh air on your drive to work. Unknowingly, Tamarack Falls would end up being the place hated the most after the death of his wife and daughter in a drunk driving incident.
The night of the drunk driving incident spawned a headline about the disappearance of Cyril and the death of the man responsible for his family's untimely end. In truth, Cyril had been taken by the Fae and forced into their games. He would be that way for eleven years before being released and thrown back into Tamarack Falls confused and in front of the health office that he had always staffed at. Convinced that Cyril had only gone on bereavement leave - nevermind for eleven years - he was hired back and Cyril has been here ever since. Some years later, a Freehold would be formed and a couple months later, Cyril would throw his hat in.

- Escapees - Cyril is part of a special order that helps escapees, well, escape. Fae after you? Loyalists want you? Say no more.
- The Hedge - He appears to spend a lot of time here. Maybe? It's hard to tell.
- Greenie - Healer? Healer. Healer!
- Waykeeper - I can tell you who you are better off speaking to at least.
- Fame 2 Doctor - Are you a mortal and need a doctor? Man is he a good doctor. He can stitch that up!
- Fame 1 Changeling - Cyril gets bandied about for several reasons. The act with roles is considered a cheap comedy act by now but it's noticeable, the fact that he's been here since before the freehold and especially his lack of desire. This is a changeling that wants nothing and does everything.
Fun Facts
- Roles - Everyone is the sum of their roles to Cyril. Even himself. If you aren't acting your role, he might change your role or tell you that you aren't maximizing your role.
- Wizard - Cyril does everything precisely when and as he means to. He has remained a recruit in the greenies and wayfarers all this time because every time there's an attempt to promote him it fails. Whether that's because he fails the required knowledge review, being just late enough or some other reason, it's always by just enough that it seems almost plausible.
- Slow - Maybe he's old, Maybe he's just slow, but actually no, he's just really slow. Don't expect anything fast to ever come from Cyril ever. Sense of urgency? Never heard of her.
