Cornelius Rex
A hypocrit. A knight that seeks out corruption using methods that could be called corrupt. A liar that hates liars. A thief with no honor among his own. He gives one true reason for his actions, but keeps his primary motive secret. He is a riddle in a maze, and a paradigm that defies itself.
RP Hooks
- Knight - Fame 2 (Dragonslayer). A member of the Knighthood of the Dragonslayer, the name Cornelius Rex (sometimes also bearing the title of 'Sir') is a known one not only to other knights, but to some other Lost and those they associate with. The story that lends him fame varies with each telling, but the most common version features Cornelius hunting down a treacherous motley in Chicago and killing the group single-handedly.
- Scoundrel - Inconspicuous 2 (Thief). Shinies catch the eye, and Cornelius catches the shinies. Due to his skill and care, this is known to very few. Whether or not there is one among them that knows what he does with his collected treasures is anyone's guess. Having no home and few possessions suggests he does not profit from his criminal activity.
- Homeless - Even when offered a place to sleep and regular meals, Cornelius always finds a reason that has him better off on the streets. He tends to be an uncommon sight rather than haunting one place. Despite his homelessness, he is rarely spotted without some sort of wine.
- Ridiculous - Who said that members of the Winter Court all are perpetually somber and weepy? That person clearly never met Cornelius Rex. Whether the strangeness is an act, a mask, or the onset of insanity is a matter that can be debated.
