Originally from Tamarack Falls, a nephew to the old man of the Fry family, Jack has spent many years in New York working for the police force there in the K9 units. He was severely wounded however, and changed his career path in order to get back home; he now works as a Park Ranger in the area. He's got a bit of a reputation for being a relentless, stubborn law enforcer, but he's not a dick - he's fair and reasonable and not prone to violence unless he has to. He lives near the park itself in a cabin, and hasn't much of a social life. He works almost constantly and his only company at the cabin is his dog and his horse. Not that he doesn't spend time with others, and he even has a few people he calls friends, but he's not exactly the type you'd run into in the club. More likely you'd meet him up in the forest on any given day.
