Overview

      Lily "Lolly" Hokaru Black, daughter of a primarily Japanese mixed-Asian family, never intended to end up in fumbuck Vermont.

      She wanted to become a fashion icon, a designer known the world over for her innovative style, someone with clients whose annual incomes were seldom below seven figures... Sadly, talent was not on her side.

      Her uncle, however, was.

      After barely scraping through a graduation with a fashion degree, she...could not get a job. She tried. She tried so hard. Then, one day, these creepy lawyer dudes showed up to say her Uncle Jack had died and left her something in his will. Now, Lolly had barely even known she HAD an uncle Jack -- her father didn't really talk about him much. When the lawyers presented the title to the sleazy pirate stripper bar 'The Plank' as her inheritance, she immediately realised why. Still... it would be a way to earn money...

      And thus, Captain Lolly moved to Vermont.
