Annapurna as ST. Alexander and Ariana

Ariana and Alexander are out in the Olde Market when a strange person drugs Ariana and tries to kidnap her in the back of a van. Alexander pursues and proceeds to Hulk the everliving daylights out of the van, rescuing Ariana.

Location

R03 The Olde Market

Kidnappings are supposed to happen at night, or in dark alleys. They aren't supposed to happen in broad daylight out in public, when innocent porcelain dolls are out shopping in the Olde Market, and they certainly aren't supposed to involve needles jabbed into arms through clothing. So unsanitary. But, it is what it is.

Unfortunately for Ariana, her body embraces the sedative like a long-lost friend, and she is going loopy within a few moments of feeling the prick of the needle.

Alexander, on the other hand, is not pricked with a needle, no. He has the pleasure of seeing someone bump into the doll, hold on to her arm a moment as if concerned (prick!), then oh so kindly help to support her when, gee, for some odd reason, the doll starts having trouble keeping herself on her feet.

Let's just escort Ariana into this convenient alley...where a van is conveniently idling.

What's the point of having porcelain skin, if it just lets needles go right through! Ariana is about to apologizy for bumping into the person when there's a jab of a needle and her mouth opens to say something, probably about how that hurt, when her legs suddenly decide that keeping the doll upright is a REALLY hard job.       Then there's a grip on her arm, and someone whose face is really hard to make it out. The doll's green eyes struggle to focus on that face, but it's a lost cause, as the face's voice guides her towards the alley with words of having her sit down and she nods along with it. Sitting down would be good, walking is hard, and everything's going all fuzzy and little elephants are playing in the snow.

For a moment Alexander just looks, stares, squinting. As if trying to figure out what exactly is going on here. The Ogre makes a sight, clad in but a pair of loose trouses and with a giant umbrella held up above him to ward off the angry rays of the sun.

Then he snorts and starts making his way towards the someone with the subtle approach of a jackhammer, long strides pushing a few unfortunate souls aside with his bulk. Not screaming, not yet.

No no, no screaming. For Ariana, everything is calm and slow and confident. Nothing is wrong. Yes, just a little bit farther. Let's get you settled down out of the sun, so we can make sure you're okay...

The van is nothing remarkable. It's the same kind of worn, well-used delivery vehicle one would find anywhere, with the name of the business faded into barely-legible stains overlaid by other barely-legible stains on scratched white paint. Splatters of mud conveniently cover the license plates, too.

The sun is cut off, for the most part, by the buildings on either side of the alleyway, leaving it in chilly shadow, and Ariana is 'helped' up to sit on the floor of the van before, under the pretense of getting her off of the cold floor, she is 'helped' up to sit in a seat and buckled in. The one doing the buckling reaches back to close the doors, looking out the rear windows to make sure they've gotten away clean.

Nothing is wrong, except legs aren't really holding her up, and arms are starting to feel really heavy. And... and sleep is good, as she is helped to the van and then set into the back. She sways, hardly able to keep herself up while she looks out the back of the van with a very unfocused pair of eyes. Her eyebrows knit together... is that a mountain walking towards it. **SQUINT** Blink-blink.       Oh, sit is nice, sit is better than warm. And buckle-up for the ride! Wait... what ride, ride isn't. Oh, we're going to get help, okay, ride is fine. Kind strangers helping her as she slumps into the seat. Whatever she's been dosed with, keeping her calm, lethargic, and everything's going to be okay... just need to sit here...

Alexander isn't the quickest mind in the west, but once he does figure out what is going on there is no stopping. The long strides turn into a run as he charges towards the van just as it closes, and as he comes near he lets out a roar, bellowing and deep. "Where do you think you're going fuckers?!" slamming into the side of it with a bang, before reaching with heruclean strength to seize ahold of the metal frame, fingers bending steel before he grunts as he flips the vehicle right over.

The woman in the van with Ariana was NOT buckled in, and certainly wasn't expecting to have a mountain of a man start charging down the alley, eyes widening in the instant before he outright flips the vehicle. "How--ahh!!" Tumbling through the interior, she keeps her neck unbroken, but still screams, and sprawls on the ceiling-now-floor of the van, dazed, for a long moment before struggling to push herself up to hand and knees.

A man's voice from the front seat, also yelling, and now dangling upside down, shouts, "What the FUCK just hit us?! Maxine?!"

Ariana, safely strapped in as she is, is now dangling from the seat at an odd angle, head toward the floor, legs flopping, seatbelt cutting into her waist and chest.

Ariana is mind her own business, mostly. Really, she's out of it and trying to figure out what all is going on, when suddenly the world is actually all tilted and crazy and she grunts while she hangs there. Her head shaking from side to side, and wincing from a pain in her elbow. Her porcelain definitely cracked after that, and just hansg there. "What's... happening? Mountain," she asks, foggy memory recalling a mountain running after the van. "World... wrong side up," she adds, hands trying to reach buckle to...       CRASH       The good news, the world is back to the right side. The bad news is it's because she just fell after unbuckling her seat belt. And now she's just laying there in that heap. Comfie, and world isn't moving wrongly or throwing mountains at vans.

"I know you're in there!" Alexander roars at them, snorting like an angry bull. His fingers dig into the metal chassis as he finds the edge of one door and tears it off with ease, thowing it aside like trash. Blazing red eyes staring into the interior. He squints at Ariana for a moment where he lays, as if making sure she is the one he saw taken before he smashes further. "You should get out." he notes before hie attention settles upon the other woman.

The other woman, gathering herself, holds her head as if it hurts and blurrily calls, "How the fuck should -I- know? I--"

And that is when the door is -torn- off of the van. Like. Grabbed, and torn. Maxine stares up at Alexander in silent awe which swiftly becomes fear, because, you know, he just tore the door off their van. "...ALEX!! It's one of THEM!!! How do--you said they couldn't come out in the SUN, asshole!"

The man dangling in the front seat gets his feet braced, then works around, wriggling, until he can get himself unbuckled -without- falling and banging anything important. "I--fuck, most of them CAN'T!"

Ariana blink-blink. Hey! It's the mountain again. Wave to the mountain! Arm twitches while she lays there. There we go, wave completed to say hello. And then there are fuzzy words from the mountain. Mountains aren't supposed to talk right? "M-mountains don't talk," she murmers thickily while she lays there. She's definitely not in a hurry to move, and judging by the fact that her wave was a twitch, she's probably not moving any time soon from the floor of the van. At least, not without help.

Alexander grunts, it is the song of his people. And looking back down at Ariana he sighs, a deep fucking exhale from him that is. He's not angry, just disappointed. Looking back to Maxine he reaches out with a hand to grabb ahold of her, tight, painful but not bonebreaking and simply drag the poo woman out of the car.

It is a very mountainly song, to be sure. Maxine struggles, but can't quite squirm out of Alexander's grip, kicking and kneeing and attempting to bite the man in the process. "Let--me--GO!!" Squirm, wriggle, struggle. "ALEX!! Just SHOOT the bastard!"

The man in the front seat, who must be Alex, yells, "What do you THINK is going to happen if we start shooting people in broad daylight!" Still, he starts fumbling around the front seat of the car, searching for something.

The sound of the car crunching and glass breaking, not to mention all the yelling, has begun to attract a crowd, people approaching the mouth of the alley way. First one, then another promptly pulls out their smartphone to start recording videos.

Ariana wathes the woman get grabbed, and dragged towards the ruined door. "Bye-bye," she says as the woman leaves while she lays there, head resting on the roof of the van, before she narrows her eyes at the mountain that grumbled. "Mountain man.... they were helping," she says, trying to remember what's happened. Why is she in the van? Shopping, and then legs went out, and then they were helping, yes, helping!

Alexander does have the peace of mind to take notice of the gathering crowd, a glare is given to one in particular snatching out their phone. A puff of glamour later to summon forth the blazing heat of the sun to punish them. His vice like grip remains on Maxines' arm and he looks down at her. "Jesus fucking christ." he snorts "No shooting, no nothing. Just come with me away from all this and we can talk." a glance to Ariana "Not fucking helping." then down to Maxine again "What did you do to her?"

"Ah!" The young man with the phone yelps, letting go immediately, and stares up at Alexander with wide eyes.

Maxine yanks at the arm in his grip, trying to get away, and follows his gaze toward the crowd. A flash of triumph in her eyes later, she shouts, "You just WRECKED our fucking car! Let go of me, you maniac!" With her free arm, she points at the puddle of drugged up Ariana. "What did you DO to her?!"

The man in the front seat pauses, messing with something in his pants, and starts to slowly edge away, crawling backward out through the shattered front windshield.

Ariana is still all puddled. "You're not helping! They were helping," she mutters, "Gave me place to sit and were gonna take me somewhere... to help. And you just mountained," she says while she lays there, noodle arms and legs trying to get under herself so that she can try and protect her kidnappers. They were nice, and... everything is foggy, and oooo... shiny. She manages to get to her knees, before she falls over again.

"Do you really think it's your best plan to piss me off right now?" Alexander asks down to Maxine, his grip on her arm tightens, muscles pressed in, bones complaining, it will bruise that is for damn sure. "Just shut the fuck up." leaning forward he reaches in with his free hand to help Ariana out of the wreck, ignoring the creeping fellow for now.

Maxine winces as the grip on her arm tightens, hissing a word which should be soaped out of her mouth, but she does hush up, eyes wide, when Alexander applies his looming height and strength to such...uh...mountainous effect. Gulp.

"I--" The woman can't get out much more than that, blinking quickly, then jerking at her arm again with more urgent strength, desperate to get away.

The man continues to creep backward, staying out of the crowd's sight, and one of the voices out amidst the growing number of people clogging the mouth of the alley calls, "Call 911! There's blood on that woman!" while others start hurrying forward.

Just...not TOO far forward. Alexander is very large, and very obviously violent.

Ariana heys as she is dragged from the wrecked van by the mountain. "Hey.. get off me... mountain," she says, clumsily trying to get that huge strong fist off of her and pulling back against that hand. "Stop it," she mumbles, uncoordinatedly trying to get him off of her, and undoubtedly not really making the case that he is actually the rescuer.

Not a man of too much patience Alexander finally loses it, and snorts as he releases Maxine, although not before reaching out with a meaty fist to grab a fistful of her hair and tugging, hard, to release a whole little bunch of it. OUCH. Then tossing her aside as he wholly ignores Ariana's complaints and instead walks deeper into the alley. To catch a look of the man as well, as he takes his long strides.

Maxine shrieks when her hair is yanked out of her scalp, clutching her head, and half-crawls, half-staggers her way away from the ruined van. The man, nothing loath, stealthily retreats around a dumpster farther down the alley, hiding there, until all of the attention is on Maxine and the van.

"Hey! That guy's getting away!" A woman in the crowd jumps up, pointing at Alexander, and people start rushing forward. Unfortunately for them, but fortunately for the mountain of a man, the van blocks most of the alley, and the crowd of would-be rescuers mostly gets in its own way, clogging things up.

Ariana struggles to get out of the grip of the mountain man as she is dragged along through the alley. "Lemme go," she mumbles, pushing and prodding and generally trying to get lose from Alexander's grip, before she finally wears herself out between the exertion and the drug, and blissful unconciousness swallows her up.

Huff, huff huff. Alexander sets down along the street in a right hurry to get away from all the commotion. "What the fuck did they put in you." On the hunt for another alley to dissapear. Bumping into people left and right as he speeds through.
