Russian folklore contains tales of a maiden of similar name and temperament. The legend describes her as a brave warrior-princess famed for her beauty and cunning at containing a terribly powerful sorcerer from wreaking havoc on the world. When a well-meaning prince releases her captive to do great ill, the sorcerer abducts her, and a great, harrowing adventure begins. Death and trickery separate the lovers, and the eponymous heroine must confront the immortal herself. At the end of the story, the tsar and the princess are reunited, but at what cost? Such enigmatic tales aren't without basis, played out again and again.

In January 2018, she assumed ownership of Olympus, a bookstore with an occult slant and some of the best Russian tea around. With the spring solstice on the rise, she emerged as the elect of the Watchers, appropriate for a dreamer.

Above all, Zhenya serves as a mystic adviser to the Freehold. She unsurprisingly keeps mum on most of her abilities, but she possesses a deep and varied background in matters occult and fae. She keeps her sanity by aiding other Lost leaders, so bring her your problems.

Dreams in all aspects -- oneiromancy, combat, and shaping -- are her bread and butter. As Elect of the Watchers, she rarely turns down opportunities to delve into the silver sea.
