Overview

      Born on the family compound a number of years back, Delphis Lefevre is a local. The older locals and family members would remember him as a troublemaker back in his younger days. Adventurous and daring and yearning to see the wide world beyond Tamarack Falls. Good-hearted, yes, but trouble. Then the boy grew into a young man and he went away. By the time he returned home, he was changed. The wounds from his time overseas weren't physical and didn't heal quite so easily. Gone was the wanderlust and desire to be anywhere but home. Gone was the troublemaking. The kind heart, though? That remained and matured through his pain and life experiences.

      Now Del is a contributor and has been for the better part of two decades. Living on the family compound, he works the maples and delivers the syrup. In the summer he carves logs with a chainsaw and makes art. In the winter, he does the same with ice. Need a canoe? Del can make one for you. A well-known and even locally famous outdoorsman, he's served as a guide for out-of-towners on backpacking trips, fishing and hunting expeditions, and has taught classes on survival and using the land. Locals will know that he can help in other ways too. Need help with a garden? He's your man. His plants grow faster than normal. Don't want to have to attend that family picnic? Del can bring the rains. Good luck? Bad luck? People say Del can help. He's a softer man now, content with the simple things he's come to know. He's found a measure of peace at last.
