Overview
Part of the Lefevre clan, Layne left town with her twin brother a decade back for higher education, and neither has set foot back in town since. With the recent death of her parents, though Layne, who went on to Oxford, attained a PhD in Library Science, wrote a book on mythology now used as textbook materials and has made a name for herself as an academic is back. Back, and... different. Of the twin, there is no word. Once so close, they now must be estranged, given how little Layne talks of him.

RP Hooks
- Books - Layne lives for books. Fiction and non, and on any topic you care to name. If it is written upon a page, she seems inclined to adore it.
- Autumn - Layne is a member of the Ashen Court, and has been for quite some time, now. She joined while living and studying in England. (Mantle 3)
- Another Damned Cat - The area is like a magnet for cats. She isn't a Beast, but she's still clearly feline. She is also proof that not all cats are smooth, elegant creatures.
- Custodian - Though new, Layne is nonetheless a Custodian in the Freehold. Ask her about books.
- Librarian - She can shush you like whoa. This is both her training, and her calling.
- Publish or Perish - She has one published work. You probably haven't read it, unless you're the type to read a book now being used as textbooks in a few Mythology classes at varying universities. It is called _Comparative Mythologies_, and is about drawing comparisons in the mythos of various cultures.
- Awkward - Some might call her adorkable if they feel kind. Others call her just plain awkward. Social graces are not Layne's strong suit.
