Valerie was born in Atlanta, though under a different name, of course, and, to put it lightly, she didn't have a good childhood. It was hard enough that she ran away when she was just fifteen. Only a few months later she was betrayed by a friend and Taken to Arcadia.
The time she spend there under the rule of the Baroness was even less pleasant, and that seems to be where she acquired her scars, though she never speaks of her time there. Or if she does, it's not to anyone who speaks of it.
Luckily, Lost who found her after her escape helped her adjust though she was extremely skittish. After a few years though, she decided to move, though her reasons for the move are her own. Still, it led her to Vermont in the middle of 2017.
- Archery: She's an archer, and when not in town can often be seen with her bow. She also teaches archery, so hopefully she's good at it.
- Courtless: Though she's not a new escapee, she doesn't seem to have chosen a Court.
- Direction Sense: She has none. At all. She's lucky she doesn't get lost in her own home. So she's often found turned around and in need of help.
- Horses: She's fond of them and seems to even trust them more than people.
- Job Hunting: She teaches archery, but could use a job that pays more regularly. Just probably not something that involves a lot of training.
- Scars: She has them, and they're visible enough, primarily on her arms. Who knows about mental scars.
- Southern Transplant: She's from Atlanta, Georgia, and can't hide her Southern accent.
- Trouble: Are you in trouble? She might help.
Mask
This woman is slender and on the taller side of average. Her hair is just past shoulder length and a medium-shade of brown with some waviness to it. Hazel eyes are set beneath dark lashes. Her skin has a light tan, but isn't flawless. There's a scar beside her left eyebrow, and one over her right cheek, both small, but noticeable with more than a quick glance.
Mien
This woman is slender and about five foot eight, and most definitely one of the Lost. Her skin is has a vaguely metallic look to it, not quite silvery, but not quite a normal hue for a person, and it has black 'veins' across it that resemble streaks of color in marble. Her dark, nearly black, hair, though it seems to have a normal texture, has a gleam to it and reaches just past her shoulders. Her eyes look like blue polished stones, without any pupil or whites to differentiate, but the color is muted. She does have several visible scars, including by her eyebrow and on her cheek, though the ones on her arms are more noticeable.
