The Barony of the Lesser Ones

The Barony of the Lesser Ones Investigators and diplomats to hobgoblins, judges and enforcers of relations between Changelings and hobgoblins. Titles: Baron or Baroness of the Lesser Ones Prerequisites: Wyrd 3, Intimidation 3, Persuasion 3 (If Gentrified Bearing or Hob Kin are owned, it drops to Intimidation 2 and Persuasion 2)
Joining Primarily a recruit has to prove their worthiness to the Barony. They have to demonstrate competence in negotiation and intimidation, and be able to gain service or allegiance of a hob. There is no apprenticeship, instead prospects must gain competency on their own. When they feel confident, they seek out a Baron and if the meet the qualifications, they're welcomed in. Mien The mien changes ensure that whatever they wear is decorated with knot-work patterns that resembled a stylized version of the Hedge. At higher Wyrd, some Barons start to resemble hobgoblins. Background They tend to be physically competent and either charismatic or intimidating. Two primary types of people join the barony; changelings fascinated by hobgoblins and those who distrust them. Organization The organization is loose. All but the oldest/most experienced Barons are of equal rank. The eldest are known as elders. To become an Elder, they must have been a Baron for 30+ years and be accepted by the other elders. Privileges Barons receive a +2 bonus to all Intimidation and Persuasion rolls against any form of hobgoblin or Hedge denizen.
