A few of the locals have mentioned another freehold nearby in passing, but no one seems to know exactly where, and every time we ask about it, they clam up something fierce. I haven't been able to determine much more than "west" for direction, much less its name, or threat level to us here.

Finally! Jake has gotten closer to one of the locals, and if his report is correct, it's a good thing we haven't met the neighbors. From what his source could (would?) say, they have a tendency to shoot first, and ask questions of the wounded. The source either couldn't or wouldn't give up the freehold's name, but it is large, larger than we are, and it has been in the area "a long time."
