Joining Impress the Duchy by showing that your heart is icy. Belong to the Winter Court. Mien Clothes are generally impressive in some way. Normal Winter appearance is present, but heightened. Breath may be frosty, skin icy. Frozen tears cling to the changeling's face. Higher wyrd means more tears. At extremely high Wyrd, those tears seem to give off an aura of sorrow. Background Most members of the Duchy were once emotionally available and suffered heartbreak. Generally high with social skills. Organization Very informal organization. Travel and parties may be done together, but there's little beyond that. Members of the Duchy aren't supposed to 'work' on each other. Once a year, generally on the first day, the Duchy names the most successful of them, called the Rake. The previous year's Rake chooses this person. Privileges Hearthooks This gives Dukes and Duchesses +3 Social dice over those whose hearts they've broken. It must be true heartbreak. Once the victim loves again, this bonus is negated.
