Introduction
  • Curios Wyck is curious to a fault. He's the guy who -has- to know how the magician did his tricks, who had to read what happened to Dumbledore before reading the rest of the book. This can lead to a streak of impatience within him but it's also a source of his greatest asset; fortitude. His curiosity has driven him beyond the limits of mild interest on more than one occasion and its this asset that will take him into a bold, dark new world.
  • Edgy Every street kid has a bit of the wild side within them. Whether it's a glance that says that they could easily cut you if it meant that they could eat that night or maybe it's how they have learned to stay perfectly calm when everything's going wrong around them, he's always on edge.
  • Broke Down Wyck never meant to stop in this town but life just sort of happens. In his case, the fan belt (or something more complicated) on his Winnebago broke within minutes of what was going to be just a quick stop for gas and munchies. So what does this mean? Well, he's stuck here until he can get his rig fixed. This also means that he'll need to find some way of earning money, someone to hire to fix his truck and a way to keep himself going until he can get back on the road.
RP Hooks
  • Poor: Wyck is pretty po. He's so po that he can't afford the last two letters of that word. This means that he's commonly seen frequenting around the darker sides of the city though has been spotted in libraries, etc. Wyck was raised in a poor family who dreamed about having a working class income. As such, his priorities are a bit different. Rather than focusing upon gathering all of the outward, material signs of wealth and success, Wyck has learned to do with less and is quite happy to focus his sights on goals which are more important to him. So long as he has a roof over his head, food in his belly and a spare notebook, he's usually good to go. Anything else he might acquire is there to help others. He's known to do the occasional odd job here and there to keep him in food and coffee.
  • Artist: Wyck is what you might call a starving artist. Meaning that he's not being paid for his art but he doesn't often get paid for it. He draws what he sees, usually, so he's constantly scribbling away at this or that in one of many sketchbooks he carries with him.
  • Hustler: Wyck is straight - or at least that's what he tells his clients. Normally he tries to find up-scale businessmen who want a little action on the down-low and is usually able to keep them quite entertained.
  • Thief: One of the things he tends to 'fix' for people is when they need items back from people who have taken them or when the courts won't force them to give them back. Above such things as a pick pocket and not as sophisticated as a bank robber, Wyck will 'find' things that people need (or say that they need) for the right price.

Mein
Wyck is a changeling, specifically one of the Fairest and he's chosen the Court of Spring to pledge his allegiance. He follows the path of the Verdant Spring with his bold and brash desire to embolden, inspire and motive those around him. His durance has forever altered his view of the world encouraging him to take every opportunity to seize the moment to enjoy whatever he can for tomorrow there may be war. Wyck's mein has a few distinctive elements:
  • Hair: Wyck's hair appears something like dandelion fluff (short and spiky) and is so blindly white that it -almost- could be seen to glow in the right light.
  • Eyes: Wyck's eyes are what some might call 'neon green' in that they are so bright and vibrant that one would not be surprised if they started glowing in the dark (though they don't...yet).
  • Ears: His ears are a bit longer than a human's with an elven point to them. They've even been known to twitch slightly, almost cat-like, when he's startled.
  • Face: His face has a natural youth to it that doesn't seem like it'll ever mature into adulthood. He can't grow a goatee or a beard for some reason and seems perfectly frozen in those early years of life where he'll be asked to prove that he is, in fact, an adult.
  • Movement: The boy is, in a word, graceful. Like a dancer, thief or acrobat, he possess an unnatural grace about him.

Soundtrack
Raise your Glass - Pink
So raise your glass if you are wrong
In all the right ways
All my underdogs, we will never be, never be
Anything but loud
And nitty gritty dirty little freaks
Won't you come on, and come on, and
Raise your glass
Just come on and come and
Raise Your Glass!
