6 June, 2018

A Knight of THOTH calls out Tryptych to join her august order.

Location

Kerrigan's Sacrifice

Kerrigan's Sacrifice hasn't been a bastion of activity as of late, but one of the Harvestman has been called to it by another of their order. In this case Tryptych got a message that a Erma Cassman wanted to see her asap, and her ass better be there. Inside the Spartan Hollow a lone woman sits in a chair, feet propped up on a table usually used for planning with a pipe in her mouth. In one hand she holds a bottle of something frothy and purple, and in the other a book she's idly reading over.

It's not unusual any more for Tryp to be in Kerrigan's Sacrifice, and today is no exception. She seems to have other plans as well as the requested meeting - She's got a bag over one shoulder that seems to have various hand tools and crafting materials in it. So she's here now, and moves up to the table, snagging another chair and flipping it around (Surprisingly easy for one of such small stature - might be the metal arms). Sitting in it backwards, she grins wildly. "Sup boss. WHats up?"

"One, I ain't your boss. If I was you'd be wearing this?" 'This' being an ever changing pair of overalls that's currently shifted to something blue and grey. The green-skinned woman looks several hairs shorter than Tryptych, although she apparently makes up for it with her currently very high hair. She digs into one of her pointed ears when the book is tossed aside, and she shifts a bit in her seat. "Any-fuckin-who, I was the one that called you here, and since you ain't a recruit anymore it means I don't gotta go with some fancy as titles or conversation or shit." She spits off to the side, and the nextends a mettalic hand. "Name's Erma, but I guess you already know that, Tryptych."

"One, its a fuckin' expression," Tryp answers, snorting. "And two, I got that but what the fuck you want with me?" She puts her hands on the back of the chair and leans back, stretching out those chrome covered arms as lightning crackles about them. "And beyond the name, I suppose you got something special you want me to do for you, as a favor or as some other jacked up reason?" There is a smile across her face; she's just this abraisive naturally, even with a smile. She just don't give a fuck.

"If you calling me boss is an expression I'd rather take Mistress Supreme!" she exclaims with a laugh that sends a cloud of blue smoke into the air. She waves it out of her face then. "I do have something you can do for me. Three things, really, but let's start with numero uno. First thing I want is for you to tell me about yourself other than the Harvestmen shit. I know that. Some of it anyway." The last she notes with a shrug.

A shrug. Tryp leans forward again. "Im a shadowrunner babe. I run the shadows. I steal from the rich and give to the poor. I convert with AI and Daemons and I build drones to go do my scouting for me. I fuck with anyone I can, and I'm Dusk to the core. And I never, ever, -ever- make deals with dragons." She chuckles. "That what you want to know, Mistress Surpreme? Or you want more juicy bits, like my first kiss and the first boy I let get under my shirt?"

Erma idly nods along as Tryptych speaks. However, being called by that titled brings about the biggest smile from the littlest goblin. It really looks to warm her heart as she kicks her legs off the table. "Good, good." Then she cackles madly. "You're right about dragns. That's why I got this!" She lifts up that metallic hand, and lifts up a pant leg to show off a leg made of gnarled wood covered in snaking vines. "Next question! What kinda shit do you get into with all your tech and shit. Sounds like you don't fuck around with simple little fuck toys and iPods."

Tryp grins again. "Fuck no. I mean, sure I got an iPod and my vibrator batteries need replacing every couple weeks, but most of my real shit is in my art. I got Fly Boi" she gestures up ward and sure enough, floating in the sky is a four bladed drone made out of hedge stuff, puttering along on its own violition. "up there and I've got some plans for a few other, small things. I'm thinking a mouse drone next, something tiny I can get into and out of places. Maybe a automated bug too. That sounds like a good scouting oppertunity."

"Fly Boi?" Erma asks. Her gaze leaves Tryptych to look up to the automaton, and follow it around. "I got one too, but he don't fly." She shoves two fingers into her lips, and whistles sharply. "SKIP!" To that response there's a bunch of clinking and clattering from a corner, and eventually something rises from a pile of swords. The thing isn't much bigger than a dog. It looks more like plastic than anything metal, but it's enough to see the vine-worked circuitry between its joints. It opens its split jaw to answer with a loud meow. "Skip, go play with the nice lady while I-" She hops out of her chair, and then lifts a hand in Fly Boi's direction. "May I?"

Cats? Yes please, Tryp most certainly will play with Skip (be it cat or dog or whatever) "Oh, come here cutie pie!" She exclaims as she gestures and Fly Boi comes driting down on copter blades, hovering before Erma. "Oh aren't you the cutiest!" She reaches into her pouch at her back, and pulls out a three headed purple cat stuffed animal. "Hecate! Come on, stop pretending and being such a cowardly little cunt." She flicks the ear of the stuffed animal, which suddenly - and drastically- returns to a full sized panther (with only one head)> "No more hiding in my pack as a stuffed Animal Hecate. That's just rude when we have friends to play with," She gestures to skip, grinning.

Skip happens to be both. Long, pointed ears, a flat muzzle, and a short tail that goes between wagging madly and sashaying from left to right. It punches up on Tryptych's lap, look up at her with another loud meow. Erma, for her part, was still reaching up for Fly Boi, but those stubby legs aren't helping anything. She's now climbing on the table, only stopping to eye up the panther, and likely to continue that journey up to sate her curiosity.

The drone gracefully drifts down into range for Erma, as Tryp seems more than happy to enjoy the attention of the dog/cat automaton. She peers closely at it, studying it in detail and taking in bits and pieces, even as she rubs behind its ears and scratches at its sides like she would with a real animal. Hecate, meanwhile, looks a little put out.

The automaton is one that's well made, and an obvious investment made to its care. Its joints bend and move fludily, and what's underneed stretches with alien grace. Most odd of all are those pink eyes that betray the intelligence hidden behind them. "I think I might just like you," Skip purrs huskily. It settles its large head in Tryp's lap, likely enough to take up all of that space there while giving a wicked look to Hecate.

As Fly Boi comes down Erma takes it in her hands, although from the bottom. She lets those blades spin about while examining every single nook and cranny on it. Eventually something draws an squee of excitement as she eventually lets it go. She tries to play it off with a few coughs, and then straightens up. "You ever heard of THOTH? The Honorable Order of the Third Hour."

Tryp tilts her head. "Have i? I sure have. I've been trying to get attention of someone from that group for the last few fuckin years. Of course, all this new fangled bullshit coming out of the mortal realm is really making it hard to find anyone who appreciates that bullshit." She chuckles, then tilts hre head even more.. "You one?" she asks, slightly hopefully.

"Consider your fucking wish granted, and your attention noted. Wait." Erma hops off the table, staring over at Hecate for a few seconds. "Three-headed cats... Shit, that's you!" She lets out a long, loud laugh as she clasps her middle. "Well, shit. I guess you have. If Fly Boi here is what you can do-" she steps forward, and extends a hand over to Tryptych again. "The offer's there if you wanna fucking take it, and trust me you want to."

A big shit eating grin crosses Tryps face "Yep, those cats were mine. And you'll see more soon too. And yes, I'll take that fucking offer. Sign me up, and lets get crackin on some more funky shit!" She reaches out and finally pets Hecate, giving the cat with a wounded look a pitty pet and a chuckle. "Hecate, stop being so jealous, you know you're always my best bud"

"More?" she asks while sidling up to Tryptych. "Anyway, that's real fucking good. I had this idea of putting like cannons on the sides of this place, and really remembeing Kerrigan if something ever comes here." She steps away to tap at her chin momentarily. "Maybe even something that'll drop down royal jelly - like the goblin clause," says the goblin. "But, what kinda shit do you plan on making?"

Tryp grins widely "I plan on all sorts of awesome shit. Electrfied traps. Automated repair bots. Spies and scouts bots to keep the Harvestmen and Freehold informed. I really want to get a tesla cage going." She grins. "Yeah, anyways. I got more plans than I know wha tto do with. So. Thoth. You got a way to get me in?"

Erma's eyes quite literally twinkle with all of those delicious devises. "Seems you got a real big elec-kick going," she points out with a nod. "Joining is simple. Swear yourself to it, and it's that simple. What matters, especially to me, is what you do /after/. Now, tell me more about these drones. They gonna be like fly boi?"

Tryp pulls one hand to a fist to her chest. "I swear to the The Honorable Order of the Third Hour, to make shit and fuck around with cool as bits of tech and hedge." She grins, then nods. "Some. Some won't. We'll see what mood strikes me when.

Erma barks out a laugh. "I think I might like you," she beams up at Tryptych. "I prefer animals since I can't do normal pets. Allergies and all that." She chuckles, moving to take her seat again. "You ever made anything else like tokens and shit?"

Tryptych shakes her head "not yet. I haven't figured that one out. Just Automaton and Hedgespun for now. We'll see what comes next"
