According to Seven, these are large worm like creatures, hanging from the ceiling at the Mischance Mine. They soak up light. Eat it. When too big/fat, they explode, apparently. Maybe be the source of the Foxfire incident.

Further investigation required to acquire more information regarding this Hedge Beast.

Ben Utridge,

Custodian Recruit and Magus of the Gilded Thorn.

Upon a fieldtrip in the Everdark and some more research, I have realized these creatures are just giant version of the Everdark's local Hedge beast creatures known as lightsippers with a single difference. The giant version doesn't reproduce upon absorbing light. Instead it explodes, as mentioned in prior reseaches.

This case is closed until more information comes at my hands.

Ben Utridge,

Custodian Recruit and Magus of the Gilded Thorn.
