House Rules: Flaws

Per WoD p.217, flaws may be taken to flesh out particularly troubling negative aspects of your character.

See the Flaws page for details and page numbers of Flaws in use on this game. The information below elaborates upon Flaws and any changes to them we have made.

Flaws & Experience Points

  • Each character may take up to -2 points of Flaws during CG for a total of +2 merit points.
  • During play, a character may voluntarily accept a Flaw for roleplay purposes. They may be temporary or permanent, depending on the nature of the trait and the player's wishes.
  • "Purchasing" a new Flaw outside of CG does not grant the character XP.
  • If at any time a character's Flaw significantly hinders him or her during a scene, this is worthy of a +activity point for either 1xp or 1tix, depending upon your current weekly total.
