ER06 - East Bank - Road to Mischance
The aged dirt road up Mischance mountain straggles a fair distance to the east, rutted, worn and decidedly in poor repair. It's passable, with four-wheel drive, a high draft and a lot of tolerance for miserable potholes. The occasional hoofprint is proof of alternate means of travel.
Midway up the foothills, old equipment has been laid to rust on both sides of the road, a graveyard of rotting metal memorials to the mine which once offered copper support for industry in town and city both. The occasional tree grows amidst the wreckage of old dreams, leafy cousins beginning a persistent crawl along the slopes shortly thereafter, the road continuing beneath arches of whispering boughs.
