Overview

Once upon a time, there was a young woman. She was very popular, purely because of her parents money and connections. Then one day, she met a friend at a gathering of friends, who introduced her to magical foods and drink that would send her mind reeling into far off places, and take away the pain of the world she lived in. Show her visions of things that would be, could be, and might never be.

Callie ate of the food, and drank of the drink. Soon, her friends all left her, and her family spent their days and night shouting at her, so she spent her days and nights elsewhere. For there was no knight to rescue her from the neverending night that her life was slowly becoming, because of these magical foods.

The Mother Who Feeds found her instead.

The Mother Who Feeds forced her to turn from the princess to the knight again, and she escaped her clutches back into the forest. But she had been away and not away so long, her parents had forgotten her, and her friend had followed her shadow that was left that she had left when she took a left turn into sadness and madness. And perhaps it was there, that she had died.
