Active Blessing: Scavenger's Nature
- Roteaters may spend a Glamour to scrounge for a useful item without requiring a successful perception check. If the item is used in the same scene in which it was found, the roteater gains a +2 equipment bonus to any rolls made utilizing that item. If the item is used in a story-worthy manner, it may be used in Hedgespinning. If not, it loses all worth and utility by the end of the scene.
- Items found by scrounging in this manner are always of 0 Resource value and reasonably small. When a ST is involved, the item found is at the ST's discretion.
- Story-worthiness is also at the discretion of any present ST. Broadly speaking, this means using the item to affect dramatic change in the story being told. For example, using a scrounged belt to trip the enemy or rescue a friend is far more story-worthy than using it to hold up a weapon or splint an arm.
