R06 - Tamarack Road - Industrial District
Sprawling out over the southern end of the city, the industrial district encompasses a broad range of businesses, some more respectable than others. The streets aren't as clean, the buildings aren't as new, and street signs are prone to creative repurposing. Some of the most commonly stolen have been placed impractically high, almost too high overhead to be legible while driving.
Nearest the river, warehouses and old shipping businesses hold pride of place, many docks letting out into the water for what goods still travel by barge. Mechanics and dives, pawn shops and houses of quite illegal ill repute are farther inland, with low-income housing and cheap apartments lining the streets nearby.
The district gradually shifts toward more respectable establishments the farther west it goes, graffiti more commonly scrubbed away.
