The Lord Sages of the Unknown Reaches

Scholars and researchers of other supernatural phenomena.

• Prerequisites: Wyrd 2, Occult 3, at least 2 Occult specialties

Joining

Any changeling with experience with other supernatural beings may be invited to join. Thsose without the experience, but with a strong interest, may be invited to apply and given a mentor.

Mien

Their eyes seem to enlarge slightly and take on a permanent glow. Their clothing and skin may become decorated with occult or esoteric symbol, which change each time they wake up.

Background

All members have an interest in supernatural beings, some before being Taken, others after. Some fear them, or may even attempt to steal secrets, but all have a fascination for these beings.

Organization

There is a loose division within the Order, divided by field of study. There are regular gatherings, with the largest being on Halloween and Beltane.

Privileges

Each Sage gains +1 to all Persuasion and Socialize rolls when dealing with a single type of Supernatural being. They can purchase Allies or Contacts with any other supernatural being or type of being, including ghosts or spirits. (This is an exception to the House Rules regarding Supernatural Allies). They can also purchase Enhanced Item, Imbued Item, Library, Fetish or Talen, the latter of which can be used with the following merit, which can be purchased by members of this entitlement.

Outsider Fetish (1 to 3 dot merit) A character can begin play with a talen or fetish, though it cannot be rated higher than 2 dots. One dot means that they own a talen, two dots is a one dot fetish while three dots is a two-dot fetish.
