Brollachan are amorphous terrors from Scottish mythology. The unfortunate Lost whose durance shaped them into a Brollachan was likely stripped of the familiar conformity of their human form, rendered featureless and formless. They may have spent much of their time hiding from onlookers, dwelling in darkness. They grew to use their shifting shapes to their advantage, able to take hold of a victim and instill a bone-rattling terror.
Passive Blessing: Stalking Horror
- Brollachans gain +2 to Stealth rolls and rolls to initiate grapples.
Active Blessing: Gripping Terror
- Brollachans may spend a Glamour to scare a target as an action as part of a successful grapple. To do so, the Brollachan must roll Presence + Intimidation + Wyrd vs Composure + Wyrd. On success, the Brollachan may render target insensate (deny the victim the ability to take combat actions until they take damage or the scene ends) OR frighten the target (who will attempt to flee from the Brollachan no matter what they have to leave behind or who they have to fight to get away or cower in terror if they can not get away). The specified effect lasts for a number of rounds equal to half the Brollachan's Wyrd, rounded up.
High Wyrd Blessing
- The Brollachan is growing ever nearer his Arcadian self. Gain /9 on Intimidation rolls.
