Apollo Krieos

Overview
Apollo Krieos was born in Montpelier, Vermont in 1978. He was the first born of a first generation Italian/Greek family. His mother named him after the Greek god. Childhood was an okay affair for Apollo, he was a smart kid, was an A and B student. Played Chess. Kept to himself. He won a scholarship when he was in High School to the University of Boston. But he met the love of his life right before he was supposed to leave for College and he decided to not move states away from her and he went to community college to stay in Vermont with her. Apollo became a cop in Montpelier, he got tasked to a case that turned out to be more than just a patrol officer could handle. When he found out the identity of a serial killer, the killer targeted him. When he arrived home one evening he found his fiance dead, killed in much the way that the other women were.
And it broke him.
That's what attracted the Mother That Feeds. She heard the pain and the crying out from the man. A black out drunk night found him waking up bloody on the homestead. For some odd reason, Apollo knew that his life was about to change...and not in a good way. The mother shaped him into an Ogre, a brute to keep stray children in line. Something big and unfeeling. And he was good at his job. He drug back more than a few would be escapees. He got to know only one other captive when he was in Arcadia. One that reminded him of someone, but he couldn't put his finger on it. She decided one night that she wanted to escape. Apollo couldn't allow that. Mother didn't approve and he was sent out with the hounds to help recover her. She didn't listen to him and in the end she stabbed Apollo, which sent the Bloodbrute into a blind rage. When he came back to his senses he had mangled her. Cradling her dead body struck a chord and unearthed the memory of holding his dead fiance, which jolted him back into his senses. He dropped the body and the Hounds tore into him as they sensed what had happened.
He fought the pack of them off, killing two of them before finally breaking away. The others chased him up into the thorns. He was already bleeding from the wounds from the bites of the Hounds, the thorns didn't help. He left more than a pound of flesh in Arcadia. He also left more than a bit of his sanity. When he came back to the real world, the local police picked him up in Montpelier. They were surprised that it was one of their missing persons and they were even more surprised at the shape he was in. Apollo told them that he'd been held by the Serial Killer that had killed his fiance and that he managed to get away. Which they believed. It had been two years. Two very long years.
Apollo went through a psych evaluation and that was where he met up with a member of the Winter Court. They helped explain what happened to him. Because he didn't have a fucking clue! Apollo doesn't remember much of his Durance, but his nightmares are usually of his fiance being the one that he killed. Which haunts him. Apollo was able to retain his original ID, but he didn't stay in Montpellier. He passed his evaluation and put in for a transfer to Fort Brunsett. There he went back to being a cop and he joined up with a few other Winters and joined the court formally. Life has been...up and down since his escape. Apollo has been out for over ten years, so he's not as young as he once was. He moved from patrol to being a detective. Plain clothes helps when you look like he does. He does have a fetch in Montpelier, one by the name of Anatoli Giovani. They look alike except for his fetch has short hair. Eventually he plans on finding and killing the Fetch, but recent developments have put that on the backburner.
Apollo doesn't have any close friends or family in the area. His mother died a few years ago and his father is not very lovey dovey so they don't talk much. He needed a fresh start and the transfer away from bad memories to the new area was needed. He has a few hobbies, he collects old vinyl records and tends to collect all the music he can. Otherwise he plays the guitar some, but isn't the best out there. Apollo likes to box for fun. Or well, getting drunk and punched in the face is fun for the Winter. He has more than a few enemies, people he's put in jail, not to mention he's got a serial killer out there still that wants him dead. He's wanting to find the guy and kill him.
OOC Note Apollo is played by a female. He's pretty broken so things like relationships and skirt chasing are unlikely to come up.
