A love story gone wrong

  • She just wanted to be loved... - In the early 60s, Emily Montgomery was abused throughout her young life. By her father. By her stepfather, once her mother remarried, then died a few years later. By her step brothers. Even by her husband with a promise of "taking her away" from all the hurt she endured over time. By their third Christmas together, she surprised her husband with poison in is martini, and an axe to the head. A hurt Emily who only wanted love now wanted revenge on all the men that hurt her. She was the Lizzie Borden of the modern years. When she died, she felt the presence of someone else that was hurt and alone. Though she was dead and he was alive (as alive as a Changeling can feel), she sought his company.

Description

Looking pass the veil between the Material World and Twilight, you see an ephemeral entity that takes on a canine shape. Hunter of the Horizon's form is covered in a coat of blueish fur that is short and wild, like a creature prone to hunting through territories unknown or unfamiliar. It's neck is equal length to his tail, to the point where Hunter of the Horizon wouldn't have any problem catching his tail with one try. His head has narrow ears with black tips, eyes more predatory than docile, and markings along its face that appear to be crimson claw marks. It's mouth filled with row upon row of sharp teeth. It's hard to classify what canine Hunter of the Horizon emulates because he looks like an ancestral representation of all forms of canine: dog, wolf, jackal, coyote, etc.
