Gisa calls the unicorn and the cockroach over to talk about omens and dead bodies. Again.

Location

MT03 - Tamarack Falls Jewish Books

A quick text to both Rorschach and Dielle: 'Research results. Bookstore?'

And then when they show up, Gisa greets them both, offering drinks, letting people settle in. Sweet tea for DL, tea for Rorschach, wine for Gisa. Once everyone is settled and the hellos are made, the golem tucks her feet under herself in her favorite chair. "I think I have a lead for you," she explains to the buggo.

Dielle settles into her own chair, shoes off and feet tucked up. Sometimes, one just wants to sit curled up, y'know? Her hat isn't on today, and her hair is braided and wound round her head. Also, her clothes are form-fitting and spare: body suit and jeans. Nothing to grab ahold of.

Robbie relied on Dielle to let him know as the Bug owned no tech. That's how the government tracks you! Luckily tin foil hats were hot and he avoided dressing like a paked potato in favour of other, more practical fashions. There was an interest though and the bug, well he looked impressed. Moreso he looked concerned? Not worried but concerned. Instead of bringing food he walked up to the Golem and just hugged her. He's been like this all evening since Dee found him. Bug was in hugbug mode. He asked, before anything else <<In finding the lead are you ok? This this cost you any favours I can alieve you of?>>

The hug takes Gisa a bit by surprise, but she pats Rorschach back gently. There, there. It is okay, buggo. She flicks her fingers gently in the air, dismissively at his question. "I just did a little reading, no favors required. What I found is of general interest to the Freehold, I think, and I will report it to the Custodians if you do not mind, once we have discussed it. It is important." The golem's eyes dim slightly, then brighten again. "You mentioned the red skies. No one else reported them at that time -- so it seems a localized phenomenon. That is point one."

Dielle smiles at the pair. She's pretty quiet tonight, so beyond greetings, she hasn't said much. She's just listening and sipping her tea. She leans on the arm of the chair and makes herself at home in it. Aren't big chairs awesome?

Robbie nodded in concert with her first assessment. Paused and held up two fingers. He paused and then added a thumb. Three others? <<November, Zillah, and Haruki bore witness to it. I didn't imagine it, but it was just over hte cemetery. Kinda... like the one dream I had, but go on>>

"I know you didn't imagine it. I meant that no one outside of your immediate area reported it. So it was localized, not a weather phenomenon," explains Gisa. 'Cause sometimes you gotta remind the buggo that you do know that he isn't making things up. Promise, buggo. You are not. A little glance aside at Dielle, and then she returns to her thoughts; her eyeflames flicker again. "There are a lot of reports of these sorts of things on the shore, of course. Inland, they are -- not the same, not the same incidence. However, back in the sixties, in town, there was a mass murder under what are noted as 'mysterious circumstances,' as if mass murders happen in anything but mysterious circumstances, especially unsolved ones."

"People reported several times that the sky was blood red around that time," Gisa explains in addition.

Dielle keeps listening. She only moves in that she's looking from Gisa to Rorschach and back, and sometimes sipping her key. She doesn't show any reaction, because she doesn't pretend to know what's going on yet. She's in observation mode.

Robbie looked like his anxiety was genuinely ablated before it got hit with too many questions of existential dread. There was a faint, jsut as grateful smile that was fleeting that faded into curiosity listening intently. He considered and looked from Gisa to Dielle. <<Anyone else... find it strange that happened and in the news there's taht old guy that got hit? Journalist I think. Name's escaping me. On the heels of those women we avenged?>> He was reconsiling that one slowly. He appreciated that that entire experience was personal in different reasons for all three of them. He pondered and noted to Dielle, <<That vision I've been bringing you back to. Could... be some sort of warning. The message is eluding me though. I was hoping Tom saw something but... I dunno. This time it's haunting me I guess. We might have more information for you to bring to the Custodians with that. If it's of help>>

"I am wondering whether the red skies match up with the murders and ritual arrangements that we know of in 1963. Once I have that information, then I will be able to have a more complete picture of how these omens might connect." Gisa taps her fingers on her wineglass, a tinkling sound playing through the room at the gesture. "What vision? Yes, I'd be very happy for the information you have."

Dielle gestures to Rorschach to elaborate. She is having a hard time with words today, and really doesn't feel like attempting to explain the vision, especially since it wasn't hers to begin with. Which is mostly just showing with that one gesture to Rorschach and her not talking.

Robbie tapped his nose and considered, <<Be happy to see what I can find out. I lived here all my life minus 6 years. I know a few people that might be able to dig up some local lore for us. I'll report back to you if I run into anyhting. The vision though?>> His brow furrowed and with all teh other strange things in his life, he had to wonder if it was something much more muchier.

The bug sat and took a deep breath signing soberly <<There was a long clearing. Hewn grass that was sharp like crab grass. Sharp enough when I woke up my feet were actually bleeding from walking on it and my hands were cut from where I touched it to free my feet. It looked all teh world like a clearing, but even outside?>> His hands paused and he shook them out, maybe remembering too accutely how that burned when he woke. He continued though <<The edge of the forest formed a wall; trunks pressing to trunks and the boughs so thick it'd be a challenge even for me to break through. The sky was completely open. Stars. The cosmos. A crimson nebula somewhere in teh distance. But the ground was jsut covered in blood, and while I was outside in teh open? I was not free. Like acage that looked like the clearing of a wood. And I woke covered in sweat and blood.>> He paused and looked to them with a faind, pleading look from teh assassin who was always covered in scars eitehr put there from himself, or these days outsourced to Zillah. <>

She listens carefully, tilting her head to one side. The golem nods her head once in agreement to Robbie's offer of help. And then he's on about his vision, and Gisa leans over to grab a notepad and take notes on it -- she's a lot of things, but she isn't Grillo to be able to remember things flawlessly. At least not the same way he can. Anyway, she takes notes. "You woke up bleeding, and you didn't do it? Hng." She frowns, then. "I see. Have you been sharing your dreams since then of a purpose at all?"

Dielle frowns a bit and says to Gisa, "I'm sorry. I don't understand that last question, could you rephrase it? Unless Rorschach understands it and then it don't matter much." Beyond that, she looked concerned about Rorschach, but doesn't have any opinions yet.

Robbie looked likewise slightly confused but on some days you could ask him his anme and confuse him. Uncertain he signed <<I've brought Dielle to see it. But I don't think she woke up bleeding from it?>> he looked to Dielle for confirmation

"I meant, is someone sharing your dreams on a regular basis that you have asked to share your dreams with you, so that if it happens again randomly, you have someone with you," explains Gisa.

Dielle ohs! "Ummm....well, I am a lot, because I'm his apprentice. And I woke up with feet that...well, it felt like pins and needles, like my feet fell asleep, but no blood or anythin'. Just that feeling, and it kinda phantomed my feet for the rest of the day."

Robbie paused and held up one finger and wobbled a hand maaaybe two. Really he pointed to Dielle. He made her go. It wasn't fun. His brow furrowed and made one gesture to Dielle <<Sorry>> Sorry she hurt, but not sorry he did it apparently. Looking back to Golem he said to Gisa <<I'm still going to research that downa nd see what I can continue to dissect from it.Dielle is doing well. And if I find something that can do that I won't mind the backup. I might reach out to teh Family and see oif any of my Sisters or Brothers getting any weird signal>> Because some entitlements were oddly, but tightly networked. He watched the ceramic fingers write with a great and gentle care to the tools she chose to use and signed to her <<Please be careful. Not that you are careless but because I care.>>

She looks up from her notes then, nodding for emphasis to each of them. "Okay. That's good to know. That you are not alone in your dreams very often. Right now I rather think that most of us should not be alone. Ashe seems to think this is tied to the Soundless, potentially." Gisa offers Rorschach a slight tightening of the corners of her mouth, almost a smile. "I will be as careful as I can, my friend. You do the same. We need you in best possible shape."

Dielle looks at Rorschach. "I'm not," she says. "It's important to know what's possible and what's likely. I didn't bleed, I'm fine." Then she shakes herself a little, and says, "But on that note, I need to go home. Want a ride, Mentor? And thanks for the hospitality, Gisa." She uncurls and pulls her boots back on.

Robbie reaches out wihth no immediacy and just hugged the golem. Huggy bug was in a damn right mood for nostalgia here today folks. There was a nod of agreement and perhaps some amusement, <<This is not a time for cowboys and martyrs. They all get killed. That's... inefficient>> to say the least. At the offer of a ride he nodded and signed to Dielle <<I want to get back to Zillah. Make sure she's alright. She's been working ona present for Pook for when she gets sworn to teh freehold. I told her make it pastel. He'll go nuts.>>
