I recently went in search of people that might have information on the Troubles. And I found a few people that had information as they were around at the time.

The name of the person I got this information from will not be disclosed, as I am afraid of it getting back to anyone that was around and participated in the Troubles. He was terrified to give this information, but after a week long pledge and some library cleaning he shared it with me.

The Silver Tree was the name of the former Freehold. Hence why people refer to the Silver Tree as being 'uprooted'. Most of the members were murdered. Those that were not and wanted to stay together left the Tamarack area immediately. This Changeling was a member of The Silver Tree and they held a position of middling importance. They were a Winter as well.

From what they told me, there were at least three different groups involved, they were not able to identify them. Too much uncertainty after the events, not sure whom to trust. Hunters, Loyalists, but were the Loyalists Hunters or were the Loyalists paying the Hunters or..? The don't know. They killed the Changeling's entire motley.

They told me that he almost regrets not going with the others when they left the valley. So few of the broken Silver Tree freehold stayed, himself included, but others banded together, fled the Tamarack area entirely. Winter had the fewest casualties overall, so more of the group was Winter than anything else. So few survived, barely any Summers, barely any Springs.
