The History of Fire

Sarah "Houston" Baker was born on January 8th, 1979, and grew up just outside of the city of her nickname sake. She had a relatively normal childhood and lived with her mother after her parents divorced. Her teenage years saw a rebellious side form, but she was a good kid overall. Houston never attended college and has instead taken jobs as a bartender or waitress over the years. She doesn't mind the work and often sees the bars she tends as second homes.

Houston has come to Tamarack Falls at the suggestion of an acquaintance in Salem, New Hampshire, after she expressed the desire for a change in scenery. She has hopes of connecting with the local Lost and Summer Courtiers. For fun, Houston enjoys the bar life, hunting when she gets the opportunity, and playing the guitar.

Songs to Pass the Time

Rilo Kiley - Love and War

Love and war, in heaven and in hell
You get what you deserve-- you'd better spend it well
All is fair in love and war-- and love
A civil war like this, it always sells itself.

Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire

Love is a burning thing
And it makes a fiery ring
Bound by wild desire
I fell into a ring of fire
