Overview

      The woman everyone calls Angelique Garreau is, to all appearance, a sweet-natured, generous soul with a deep and abiding love of the arts. Mostly the visual arts, but she does support performers, too. She has the voice of an angel, and evidently deep pockets.

       And if she's grown ambitious over the years, what of it? And if perhaps a few of those she has seemed to sponsor have instead whithered, and given up on the arts, well, not every gesture can find success, can it?
