Overview

      The woman everyone calls Angelique Garreau is, to all appearance, a sweet-natured, generous soul with a deep and abiding love of the arts. Mostly the visual arts, but she does support performers, too. She has the voice of an angel, and evidently deep pockets.

       And if she's grown ambitious over the years, what of it? And if perhaps a few of those she has seemed to sponsor have instead whithered, and given up on the arts, well, not every gesture can find success, can it? No one can fault her for trying to be supportive, can they? That lovely face is just so sweet, who could ever doubt her intentions?

      Somewhere out there, there is one person who could do the questioning, but the real owner of that name and sweet face isn't prepared to reclaim her life.
