They believe in facing the odds, whatever they be, head on. They believe in taking risks, sometimes calculated, sometimes not, in order to gain freedom over what binds them, and to help others find their own freedom. They may or may not have bigger plans. No man left behind. This extends past their Motley. They will never abandon another Lost in the Hedge. Those they mistrust may be bound, gagged, hogtied, and who knows what else, but the Motley won't simply leave them there to be Taken again. Never stop learning. You may be the best fighter out there, but what happens if you encounter a complex lock? You may be the most charismatic person there is, but what happens when you have to fight? Members of Direct Action believe that everyone has a skillset, but in order to survive, one must expand. Sharing knowledge and training each other is a thing. Never say die. Member of Direct Action do not give up. Make things better. Maybe not in an instance-to-instance basis - sometimes a bridge needs to be burned - but overall, make yourself better, make things better for the motley.
