WR06 - West Bank - River Road
A lazy sprawl of homes meanders over the gradually flattening slope on the landward side of the low River Road, those nearest raised above ground level to protect against Spring floods.
Settled on a slight rise in the land, an elegantly carved white wooden sign with black lettering announces the presence of the Mrs. Evelyn Miller Memorial Gardens, a public park designed to take full advantage of the gentle hill's protection from the soggy earth.
The road departs the riverside some distance to the south, but hugs its curves, never straying too far.
