Facts About Vermont

While we have rather shamelessly altered the face of the planet to create our handy dandy pair of mountains and the River Tam, we have retained most truths about Vermont itself.

For those of you not familiar with this neck of the woods, here are some rough ideas of what life would be like for your characters.

Seasons

Vermont is a typical New England state -- its weather is moody, blows hot and cold, and doesn't tend to give you too much warning when it swings one way or the other. The state gets a lot of snow, and the growing season isn't very long. Assume that snow can, and will, occur any time from October to May.

Average Temperatures

Spring: 61°F

Summer: 55-79°F

Autumn: 50-70°F

Winter: 3-28°F

Mind you, Winter lasts through March.
