“In the dark times, will there also be singing? Yes, there will also be singing. About the dark times.”

Overview
Although she’s been gone for near on ten years, Franklyn’s a local: born and bred in Fort Brunsett and part of the Garreau Family, she’s recently returned to the region to run the Green Door theatre. She’s a product of fancy stage school, and it shows: she’s driven, temperamental, and just a touch pretentious - but presumably her heart is in the right place.
Even if she does spend too much time drinking, the local rumour mill says Franklyn is pretty accommodating to artists, performers and musicians who’re looking for guidance, opportunities, or at least some practice space. Like any good thespian, she’s always on the lookout to hear a great dramatic story. It’s all part of the process, and she's all about that method.
Likes: Open bars. Performing arts. Spooky stories. Gossip.
Disikes: No-smoking signs. Cutesy shit. Fireworks. Poseurs.
RP Hooks
- The Green Door: Franklyn runs a theatre slash performing arts centre in Fort Brunsett. The fledgeling company mostly puts out avant-garde productions which - surprise! - haven’t had the greatest audience draw. Word on the street is they’re changing their programme to be more inclusive and approachable. Need a performance space or somewhere to see a show? The Green Door may be the place.
- Theatre, Darling: For people who are pretty invested in the theatre world, Franklyn is recognisable as a relatively well regarded actor with a few writing and production credits under her belt (Fame 1: Thespian). She's been in some off Broadway and touring shows and numerous small productions and artsy performances over the past ten years - as well as more recent viral videos poking fun at hip NYC life.
- Measly Mortal: Franklyn seems like a perfectly ordinary and normal human being. Sure, she’s a bit dotty and can be kind of an asshole, but that’s probably from all the time spent in NYC.
- Garreau Family: Well, they can’t all be doctors and inventors. Besides moving away to NYC for college, Franklyn’s biggest family impact so far has been electrocuting herself at a summer party when she was seven. Older and presumably wiser, she’s back from NYC and reconnecting with family.
- So Moody: Franklyn is great company - so long as there's booze and cigarettes involved. Anyone who's spent a bit of time engaging in local nightlife may have heard rumors of her occasionally irrational mood swings. It's not her fault, she's just got a lot of emotions.
