Channel 10 Local News

In our imaginary neighbourhood, the local news station is Channel 10.

It is mainly an NPC station, managed by staff, and is used as a convenient way to alert the gameworld to potential stories or, often, simply to liven up RP with current events to chat about.

Characters interested in being news reporters and running plots/working for the station are welcome to contact staff.

News Anchors

The following news anchors have been used, to date.

Michael Scuccini

Played By: Staff

A dark-haired, dark-skinned, handsome man of African descent, with perfect teeth and a professional smile. His voice is deep, caramel-melty-rich.

He tends to do the morning and evening reports.

Sai Joshi

Played By: Staff

A young, dark-haired, caramel-skinned man of Indian subcontinent descent and eyelashes which would make most women weep with envy. His voice is a lightly accented and musical tenor.

He tends to do the off-hours reports.

Bettie Carr

Played By: Staff

A smiling, high-end bottle blonde with perfect streaks and perfect fluffy, curly hair which would probably survive a nuclear holocaust without budging an inch. Her voice is a warm, professional alto, surprisingly deep for her petite appearance.

She tends to do the afternoon reports.

Margaret Anne Thackeray

Played By: Staff

A trim older Caucasian woman with perfect, artfully grey-frosted chestnut hair sprayed until it couldn't possibly budge from its elegant waves. Her voice is a sweet soprano, usually enthusiastic. Weather is cool, yo.

She does the weather! Woo weather!

Thomas Mond

Played By: Staff

A thin man in his early 40s, Mediterranean, with dark eyes and artfully tousled dark hair cut rogueishly long. He almost always has a hint of five o'clock shadow and a brilliant white smile, though a few of his teeth are ever so slightly crooked, and his nose looks like it has been broken at least once. His accent, however, is pure Brooklyn.

He comes in as a substitute whenever one of the other anchors needs a break.

News Reporters

To date there are no PC news reporters. If you have a particular reporter you would like to use for your events, you are welcome to invent one. This wiki page is not locked. Follow the style for the table and add your own reporter, with a note that you play it.

In terms of using reporters in bb3 posts, use your own reporters, or leave the details of the reporter vague. :)

Emilio Hirsch

Played By: Staff

A young Hispanic man, typically in a tan trenchcoat. His voice is a light, brisk tenor. He's competent and concise, and doesn't smile much.

Ciara O'Connall

Played By: Staff

A tall young woman with peaches-and-cream skin, freckles and frizzy red curls, usually worn loose or in a poofy ponytail. She has a local accent, smiles a lot, and is very perky.
