      Hien Almas came from a broken home. It isn't the sole reason for his unpleasantness, but it's part of the problem. He was well on his way to becoming a statistic and a serial killer if it weren't for his capture. His time away from reality didn't do any wonders for his already fragile state of mind. He enjoyed his time there. So much so that it initially wounded him that his time was up and his deal was completed.
      He was bored at first, but old habits die hard. He took up killing again, and, unlike his time before capture, he became proficient. What might have been a sick, disgusting hobby because a past time. An occupation. Something to put food on the table and to give his life meaning. This continued until he finally met his match in the silver knight.
      Before his defeat he never hid who he was or what he was. He gained a reputation among the supernatural as a killer for hire that committed to his task without question nor fail. He would even do it for free some times. It's hard to say what hurt his pride more. The defeat he later suffered at the hands of the silver knight, or that he lost one of his favored swords.
      Hien's actions eventually caught up to him, and he lay near death. If it weren't for Pickwick he wouldn't have made it to another day. He's taken this third chance at life to actually try something different. At least several smidgens different. He's thrown off and shed the skin of much of his old life, although he never hides who he his. This has left him with a rather exciting life whether he likes it or not.

Assassin: He has built up a dark reputation among Changelings. From Arizona, eastbound, and then north from Texas. He has killed the supernatural and mortal alike. He's mostly known among Freeholds for his affinity for regicide. So long as the price was right he'd lop a head off without question. While he was known for his preference of killing his marks near teh water he gained his fame for simply coming off the wind to deliver a killing blow. He has left some of that life behind, now, but it hasn't left him.
Enemies: Hien's killed a lot of people in his lifetime. During and after his time in Arcadia. That along with his fame means two things. He has and will always be hunted by someone seeking vengeance. There are also people that have been paid, supposed equals and the like, to take his life. It is not an uncommon occurrence for either party to attack him, and it's long since stopped being a surprise.
Amphibious: He is at home in the water and on land, but clearly favors the former for pleasure. He can be found in Lake Brunsett or The Tam River in the mornings.
Beast: The amphibious sort. He does not take kindly to being called a fish. Frog is mostly okay.
Self-Defense Instructor: Mr. Almas runs and operates an academy for self-defense, and takes on all students.
Courtless: He used to belong to the Moon Court, but that relationship soured after his departure from their graces.
