Once upon a time, Malachi was a good kid. A good man. A student of the books first, then a student of the world, then of war. They say war changes a man, but what really changes them in being stripped from your world and your life in the middle of a war and then made into some psycho alien's warrior hunter and spending decades befriending others like yourself just to know one day they will 'escape' just so you can hunt them down and bring them back to be killed.
