“Man is not what he thinks he is, he is what he hides.” - André Malraux |

No scent filled my nostrils, no taste lay upon my tongue. I felt nothing for there was nothing to feel. I was suspended within a void. Did I die? Am I dead?, I wondered. Within the gloom, something wondered back at me: What is death but a transition into another state of being? And thus my Durance began.
