Glimpse of the Past
I awoke in darkness. I was aware of my body and that I existed within it but in an oddly senseless way. There was nothing to see, nothing to hear. No scent filled my nostrils, no taste lay upon my tongue. I felt nothing for there was nothing to feel. I was suspended within a void.
Did I die? Am I dead?, I wondered.
Within the gloom, something wondered back at me:
What is death but a transition into another state of being?
And thus my Durance began.

Courtless
In addition to lacking the visual markers typical of her kind, Mireille doesn't seem to have a mantle. Maybe invite her to your Court's rush week and see if she wants to be a Kappa Kappa Winter or a Delta Alpha Spring!
Looking over her shoulder
Maybe she's just paranoid (aren't we all, us escapees from Hell) but Mireille stays aware of her surroundings and the people who occupy that space. Running from something? Maaaaaybe.
Newcomer
She's not from around here. While she comes across as very warm and friendly, Mireille is not terribly forthcoming about who she is or where she came from. Somehow, when those questions get asked, the conversation always seems to drift to another topic. Huh.
Normal but .. not
At first glance, Mireille looks mortal. While one might assume that she simply has her mask up, she looks human in the Hedge as well. This might cause some people to initially believe her to be Ensorcelled but, very quickly, it becomes readily apparent that she's a Changeling. Readily apparent ..how? Well, despite her mundane appearance, there is something unsettlingly inhuman about her. A feeling that is just very, very .. off.
Old
She doesn't have an AARP membership or anything; no, she's not old in that sense. She looks to be somewhere in her 30s. Or, well, maybe late 20s? Shit, could be in her 40s. It's really hard to say, seeing how Mireille has an ageless quality to her. There is the distinct sense, however, that she has been wandering around for quite a while and has seen some shit during her travels.
