| log = It's well into the night, but not so much that there isn't time for drinks. However, the bar's largely a ghost town save two lone drunkards a world away on opposite ends of Cyclone. In the back there's a bit more life, but it's only from the constant movements of the overlarge Ogre. Jonah's just in some jeans, and a dirtied blue shirt that looks like it's resisted all hopes of being truly clean. He has a map laid out over the table, and any glance upon it would reveal it to be the city itself and the adjoined town. A few pins have seemingly been placed in a haphazard man as Jonah frets over something, and begins rubbing at the back of his neck.

Much like the beasts she was modled after, Lulu goes where the lights and the wind take her. She's been blustered across town, following the light of the moon and dancing her way along enjoying the lights and streetlights. Cyclone had attracted her thanks to the rumor mill and though she is forgetful, breif flashes of inspiration can take hold of her and land her in places like this. Lulu step through the door into the back room as she drifts in with a flutter of her threadbear bellbottom jeans and the three multicolored scarves she has tied at her waist like belts. Spotting Jonah the airy blonde smiles and lifts a long fingered hand, "Hello!"

Jonah's attentions were on something near the southernmost bridge, and he was setting a green pin there until he hears the greeting. He doesn't jump, but the surprise is clear when his eyes go wide. After a beat to calm himself, he looks around until his gaze falls upon Lunette. "Good evening," he says with a nod. "I got that box you left for me, and it's been nothing short of helpful." He points to his shoes, kicked off to the side and a sock in each. "It's even better since the heat is broken at my home, and setting a fire for warmth may not be the best idea."

Lunette walks over to the fridge and opens it, peering in she snags a bottle of water as if this were her apartment or something equally absurd and then wanders to the couch; She climbs onto it; stands on it for a moment and then slowly folds herself onto the couch and cracks the water. "Hello to you, Big Guy. The box of socks? Wonderful. I am pleased to hear it. I'll certainly keep an eye out for more in that case. Your heat is broken? How?"

When she's upon the couch she at least doesn't have to crane her neck as much to look him in the eye. "Yes, wonderful would be a better word now that I think about it," he muses before going back to the map. To the matter of his heat, "My apartment isn't the best place in the world, but it isn't the death of me. The built in heat doesn't work, but it's something I've gotten used to. I've suffered more for less either way."

Lunette's lips squirm togetehr a moment as she tries to work this condundrum out in her cracked little brain. She blinks a few times and then smiles sudden and bright, "Well I'm glad it will not kill you. But if your apartment is now the best place in the world for you, why live there?" She wonders curiously. "Honestly I live in a little apartment above my work, I don't even have a shower but that's what gyms are for." She says with a curious slow blink as she smooths her fingers over her jean leaving dissapearing trails of mothdust in their wake.

He shrugs, attention briefly drawn away from the map. He's searching for another pin as he responds, "I live there becuase it's the best I can afford, and it serves its purpose: shelter. The cold is only temporary, and by tyhe time I get it fix the warmth of spring will be here. However, I will be thankful for my shower now. I don't believe I could do that much back and forth, nor as much privacy as I prefer."

Lunette shrugs, "I go early. Most peple don't shower til after their work out. They do laundry too! But I already have that covered." She smiles, pulling her legs slowly up, anling them out a bit and resting her hands on her feet. She settles into stillness and looks over the map with a curious regard. "I don't mind though. Most people don't look at other people in showers. It's an unusual thing; but useful. What are you doing? Do the pins mean something?"

Jonah looks away from the map as Lulu explains more, head slightly cant in confusion. When attention is brought back to the map with a brief frown. After a grunt, he begins pointing to the red pins around Tamarak and Fort Brunsett. "I'm trying to understand something. The red pins signify places I've seen beyond sight." Then to the green pins, "These are where my agents have either went missing, or simply missed what they were supposed to be watching." Finally, a finger pauses over a scant few white pins that he points out around the area. "These are where I personally found a few symbols that shouldn't be here as no one around this town speaks the language."

Lulu bends over, folding herself over her folded legs, pressing them out like wings as she looks over a map of the city. She tilts her head and reaches to touch the map, then each finger lights on the tip of each pin in order. "Have you spoken to the Scowling Silent Troll? There were protectors here, before the Freehold was made. So they were protecting something; but whatever it is was not something they wanted to live close to. Which left it open for takeover. But they may have answers. But if they do not.." She withdraws her fingers and stares at it with a dark longing gaze. "If you make me a small map, and mark each of the areas clearly for me, I can see if the Moon knows any truths that might help you?"

Mention of the area's history earns more than just a spark of interest from Jonah. "Beyond the majority of Ogres I've ran afoul of, I can't say I know of a Scowling Silent Troll. However, my problem isn't something being here that was before. It's something that's come after, and I don't know exactly what that is. Trying to see it any capacity has been a worthless endeavor. Nothing more than the darkness and cold of winter finds me in such a visions." He shakes his head, lets the pin he was holding drop over the map, and watches as it rolls around. "I do appreciate your offer of aid, but I shouldn't take such things when I'm already in your debt for the socks."

Lunette oh's and reaches into her carpet bag and pulls out her phone and flips through her notes. "Marty! Big, mean Troll. Says he requested with the Waylords about speaking to the Spring Queen, Monarch not Moth, and that his feelings were hurt no one's bothered to talk back. I suspect there's more to that statement. AJ and Thorn seemed okay with it, sorta rude though. Was worrisome, but they're Summer so I'm not suprised they just wanted him to go away. He left before I could ask him /what/ they were watching over here. I let Rorschach know so he could tell the Waylord who..I..think is a very pretty sparkly lady full of moons!" The moth muses as she speaks and then puts her phone away. "The Socks are personal? In this case.." She touches the map. "I'm helping more than just you. Therefore I am fufilling my oath to the Freehold. You needn't shoulder this. Besides, perhaps the Moon sees more than just shadows."

Jonah blinks a few times over, and only offers a shake of his head initially. "I don't know a Martin outside of a man tha works at the gas station on the east side of town. However, this sounds more like the Soundless business, and I've only been made aware of their presence and wants. As well, you may have to be more specific on a twinkling woman. I've met and seen a handful of their ilk in town unless you mean Waylord Ardent." Then he looks to the map, and shakes his head once more. "Lastly, I can't say if this is something that endangers the Freehold. It may simply be nothing more than a spirit that's somehow gotten to this side, and an older one if it knows anything Algonquian. It could also simply be the prank of some fool whose actions will be quashed soon enough."

Lunette shakes her head, "I did not have opportunity to meet her. I was best on all sides by cats, and had to escape before my flutter became too enticing." She says with wide eyed seriousness. "But she was a Waylord, and she was Sparkley, and she was a friend of the cats. Both of them. Tho I won't hold it against her because she's beautiful." She says with a sincere nod to herself. "Perhaps you should speak with the Soundless Troll then? He seemed quite reasonable to me, well, /to/ me specifically. But I was only asking questions and wondering why he kept insisting I was a thief. I mean I -am- but I don't go around pointing out peoples bad qualities." She pauses to take a breath and flutters a little. "If you are sure though? I've little else to do with ym free time other than find socks and do work. The Moon shows me things that do not make sense if I have nothing to look for, no path of dreams to walk."

Jonah picks up an errant pin, and with it starts scratching at one of his horns. He humbs briefly, and admits, "No, I'm not sure. That's what makes it all the troubling. I'm usually able to see such things in one way or another, but blind spots are worrying. Always and forever. I can speak to someone, and see if a map can be made. This one is mine, and the only one I have. However-" His voice trails off as he looks to her, and draws the pin away from his horns. "If you are a thief, you should easily be able to steal such a map. If you can do that then I can mark the points for you."

Lunette tilts her head, "Oh I can find a map. I would just need you to make it for me. Done then, I will return to the Hollow I met you in.." She takes out her phone and speaks into it. "A map for Big Socks, to the Heartstone, for the dreams. Don't forget the penny saver while you're there." She shuts off her verbal notes and tucks the phone away with a bright smile. "It's done then, I will see what I can see. And no oracle can see all things; one should not try to rely soley on one's own eprceptions either, for often they are skewed. Even the moon, her tone and visions they speak through different faces daily."

Jonah simply watches the act in silence. The phone has much of his attention before its put away, and then he looks back to Lunette. "I don't expect to see all things, no. Seeing nothing is new, and, to be perfectly honest, is troubling. However, I can't say I speak to or know of the moon as you speak it. My only interactions are with a few Moon courtiers I've had the displeasure of meeting."

Lunette blinks, "Moon Courtiers? Have been all too pleasent to myself. I am Autumn! I speak of that moon." She points at the sky. "The manyf aced mercurial Goddess of tides and dreams. My one true love." She inclines her head and sways a moment dreamily. "Do you not dream then? Your visions they come to you in other ways?"

"Yes, I dream," he's slow to note. "However, such things are usualy trivial at best. As for the Courtiers of Moon, we perhaps see them differently. With the moon, I offer it no more reverence than I do the earth beneath my feet. Tell me, though, why do you love the moon? I shall cast no judgments," at least for now, "and am simply curious."

She's quiet for a moment and smiles, "Of course you dream." She nods, "You're Lost. We all Dream. I often have dreams of fear and pain, not just my own but those of others too. But that is my lot in life; an that is the flavor of dream in this place. This place that collects those who do not want or cannot be found." The little moth shivers sending a small fall of shimmery iridescent dust off her shoulders. "You should revere both and the sun too; for without them you, nor I, would be here. But the Moon favors me, I dance for her and she delights me with beauty and visions. I.. use to fly so high. So high that I thought for just a moment I might be able to touch her.." Her brows knit and her hand drops from where she'd lifted it to reach towards nothing. "But she speaks to me. Even when no one else does.."

Jonah nods along, and only speaks when it appears Lunette has said her piece. "I've no love for celestial bodies save what's provided us on this mortal plane. Nothing more, nothing less. They're a natural state of reality, and one I have no strong feelings for aside from symbols seen in the microcosm. But, what do you mean no one else does?" The question comes with a furrowing of his brow, and a general sense of confusion. "Are we not talking right now?"

Lunette says, "We are, you and I, but not always. But she and I? Are together always. I am not always with people, while I am out and about. But even though the clouds hide her she's always there. Bright. Illuninating the weave of fates and dreams for those who think to look." Yes, it is extremely likely Lulu's a little more broken than your average Lost. But she does seem to function well besides that; as dippy-hippy as she comes off she's not stupid though. "I know that many people do not always have someone there with them. I could not imagine such a lonely exsistance.."

A brow quirks during Lunette's answer, but nothing on it comes from the Old One. "No, I see that. Not literally at this moment, but i do see it. I used to say that I could always make someone to talk to whenever I truly am bored, but as of the last year I find myself far too busy. It affords me an appreciate for the quieter moments in my life. Hours and days of peace, silence, and solace. A time for me, my own thoughts, and maybe some jazz playing softly in the background." Jonah was drifting off to some happy place in his mind, but just catches himself at the end of it. He clears his throat then, and returns to his usual stoicism.

Lunette lifts a finger, scratching at her soft green cheek and leaving a dark powdery set of streaks that flake away and dissapear a few moments later. "Not everyone is meant to be alone, but not everyone is meant to be connected either. It's why I'm glad I came back rather than giving up. Everything is new and wonderful and just a little scary. But it is true Jazz does make everything better. Well, music in general, I love music. And dancing. Do you?" Dancing, one assumes she means.

Jonah sets the tack back down, and rubs at the base of his horns for a few beats while thinking something over. "I've been free for a while, now. It was weird, though. Women wore bulky jackets, mean worse tight pants, and people kept trying to dance like Michael Jackson." Beat. "It was a strange, weird time, but I've adapted for some time. Music, though? That's what I can't get past, and enjoy what I grew up with. The same is also true for dancing. Yes," he admits with a nod, "I do dance. However, my overall size makes such things a detriment to those around me."

Lunette smiles, "I was born after the eighties. Loose pants, neon colors." She wiggles her fingers and laughter bubbles from her again light an airy as she leans back and rests her hands on her knees. "I don't remember a lot from them. I was so young and the eighties were just something people wanted to forget I guess. Or at least Mom and Dad did." However she is distracted from any in depth ramblings about her family when instead dancing is approached. "That! Is wonderful! Will you dance with me? Do you know the time warp?! I have this list of things I'm supposed to do!" She lifts the crumpled paper from her pocket. "For a Scavanger Hunt. I don't know where I got it." She admits.

"I didn't have as much time to enjoy the time, as it were. However, I grew to appreciate certain changes, and understand others with much more detail than I would have expected." Something close to a smile could be forming at his lips, but it's gone as quickly as it comes. "However, I don't know the time warp. Is that something from Lisa Lisa? I tended to avoid them like the plague. Something about a song of their made things..." He rolls his hand until the words eventually come to him, "Very, very uncomfortable. Although I do have to wonder, why do you need a dance for a scavenger hunt?"

Lunette says, "I don't know I just went to the ice Cream shoppe and they gave me this paper. Other people were dancing inside but there was so many people and I wasn't really in the mood to get smooshed." She admits and looks over the paper in her hand. I have to dance with someone, and also, do a hip thrust fromt he time warp. Which if I'm not mistaken is just a hip thrust so it counts." She holds up the paper, "And if I do it with you you can sign it.

Jonah takes the paper, and begins looking it over for a moment. He looks at Lunette from just over the paper, and then hands it back. "I Wonder If I Take You Home," he answers with a shiver that runs down his spine, and hands back the paper. It isn't unheard of, but this appears to be one of the few things that actually scares Jonah. He shakes his head before he gets lost in that thought, and then considers the Autumn before him. "Alright. I'll try, but I make no promises that it'll go as it's supposed to."

Lunette points it out, "See, and I'm supposed to do them with as many people as possible and have them sign it. I figure if I can get a couple dozen, I might just get ice cream for life! Wouldn't that be amazing. I love pralines an cream, and Spamoni. But they had this ..carrot cake ice cream which was just strange. Good. But strange." She bobs her head and then moves to unfold from the couch. "I don't know the song. Don't worry." She promises as she stands, "All right.. Let's teach you the Time Warp. Come on over here.." She says as she finds an empty spot and uses both hands to beckon the ogre over, as if both hands are needed to generate gthe force to entice such a massive person.

"That is a tall order to be sure," Jonah notes. "However, I can't say I'm the biggest fan of sweets of the mortal variety, but finding people that can create a dish with hedge fruit can be difficult at times." Then he's moving over as requested, and begins looking about the room. "Are you sure we've got enough room to for me to do this? I don't want to explain any damage to Feathers later."

Lunette looks around, "Naw we should be okay. It's not a wild dance or anything, it's meant to be done in large groups. Okay..." She pokes her tongue out of the corner of her mouth a few times and flutters and bounces and shakes it out her shawl and scarves and hair all aflutter as she does. A certain tiny moth clearly takes her dance very seriously. All right, across from me, now.. It's just a jump to the left." She points to the Left and does a tiny bunny hop that direction. "And then, a step to the right. Just like this.." She brings her elbows in, and then flails her arms back and forth criss cross in front of her as she does the slow step-slide back to the right.

Jonah's inspection still continues despite the description of the dance explained out for him at first. He appears unsure of his surrounding, but goes along with it nonetheless. When in place he stares at her unblinkingly. Each movement is copied in turn, and without too much error. First the jump which has him briefly take a glance at the ceiling, and then comes the bunny hop. The bit of hands swinging about appears far too odd with his stern, grey visage along with the slide that follows.

Lulu has gone to grinning like a damned fool. When she moves it's light and airy, she and Gravity have something of an understanding. When she's paying attention? She can move at a graceful manner and she tends to 'float' from jumps rather than oughtright drop. "And then you put your hands on your hips!" She does so, shoulders back, chin up and standing proud. "And then! You bring your knees in tight.. Just so." She pulls her knees together.

Jonah's movements are rigid, and lacking in any true fluidity. However, his dancing, if it can be called that, appears to come with relative ease despite his more obvious flaws. As he puts his hands on his hips his head tilts, growing curious for the moment. "Alright," he says while following along. "What next?"

Lunette says, "The Pelvic thrust! Supposedly it drives you insane!" And then? She does it, hands on hips, knees in, pelvic thrusts. back and forth, back and forth, then bounces her hips around in a circle and then jumps so she's facing away from the Ogre. "And that is it! And then!! We do it again!" And she does, a jump, a step, hands on hips and more thrusting! By the time she's thrusting again she's giggling airily. "Basically..that's it!"

Insanity is something all too common to Jonah, although this brand of it just confuses him beyond belief. He does play along as agreed upon, but it's with a constant glare of confusion. First the pelvic thrust, and then he goes the other way with a thud as he lands from the jump. The second time isn't as awkward for the Ogre, though, he still looks relatively lost. "Is that all?" he asks while rubbing at the base of his horns.

Lunette nods, "It is, that's it. I mean it's not the electric slide or anything but it'as pretty fun. And energetic. Esspeccially if you just let go and try and have a little fun once and a while." She wrinkles her nose but her smile remains buoyant as does the rest of her. "See, and it is done! And I am one step closer to ice cream!" She lets her hands fall to her sides. "Someday, maybe when we have more room, will you let me watch you dance?"

Fun? That only nets a slow nod from the Ogre. "I've only seen the electric slide once, and it only proved to me that weddings are still the worst." He sounded a wee bit petulent with that comment, but brushes away the thought with a flippant wave of his hand. "Perhaps," he continues while crossing his arms over his chest. "The want to dance, at least for me, comes when the feeling is right, and the song is far too perfect. I also know that what I grew up on has long since fallen out of favor."

Lunette flutters a hand dismisivly. "Favor is not why I wanted to see you dance. I think it would be interesting. I.. am used to small things dancing. I think it would be a wholly unique and wonderful experience to see something large dance." She sways a little to herself and her eyes close a moment as if music only she can hear is playing, then her eyes open. "Weddings are the worst though. But I hope you will feel right enough to dance so that I may see it sometime. If you like, I will dance for you in return! I will even dance like I used to, if the Wyrd is willing."

Jonah remains silent and stone-faced, but does nod after a moment's thought. "Well, to me most things are small, and every beings I meet larger than myself usually tries to eat me. However, I don't think we were wholly comparing sizes. To your offer I say, 'someday.' You'll be hard-pressed to find truly good swing in this day and age, and even harder to find one that is too good to ignore. If I find such a song and a moment I'll make sure to alert you with great haste." To that end he moves to reach into his hip pocket, and then produces his cell phone. The thing's almost comically small, and may as well be a novelty item the way it fits in his hand. "But, I'm wondering something. Why would the Wyrd need to be willing for you to dance?"

Lunette smiles, "Yes? Perhaps. Do you have a phone?" She wonders as she moves over, "I am not searching for a silly post, but if you have a phone that can see all of the webs I can show you something you might enjoy. It brings both good jazz, and modern music together." She laces her fingers together and tightens them. "It's very lovely, and very catchy, a friend of mine in Seattle showed me as I blew through there one august. SUch a sweet thing, she was made out of notes of music!" She bobs her head, "Her name was Trudy." She eyes the phone and drifts over close, the warm autumn breeze that tugs at her flowing clothing fading under the Sun mantle. "Because when they took my wings they took my grace. I do not do so well with Gravity.."

"Seattle?" Jonah asks with a tilt of his head. He offers his cell phone, held in his palm for her to take. "I can't say I've ever been that far west. I've been here most of my life. Not Fort Brunsett, but New England. I'd like to travel one day, but that day is far enough in the future that I've no qualms about it for now. But, have you not fought or search for some form of magical solution for your enemy, Gravity? I imagine you don't want a temporary solution to such."

Lunette doesn't take it, but she does reach out to touch a few buttons and once she gets to the voice search she says 'Postmodern Jukebox' into it and lets it bring up the results, playing one of the first things it brings up for Jonah and then beaming. "I go where the Moon leads me. It let me here, but I got stuck. We'll see how long I'm lost for this time..." She inhales and then smiles, "I have temprarily solutions.. I want not temporary."

Jonah's attention flits to the screen as Lunette types away. He was going to say something. It was right on the tip of his tongue. Then the music starts playing, and he's left in awe. He stands there, starstruck for a beat before snapping back to reality with a few shakes of his head. After a deep breath he says, "Solutions for? Oh. Right. The only solution that comes to mind would be a Token, but I prefer to leave such magical devices to their creators."

Lunette laughs and shakes her head, fluffing her hair out to a greenish blonde frizz. "Oh..ohohoh.. no. I'm afraid a Token would be much to dangerous. I'm afraid I'd forget..or forget that it was not a power I had on my own. Far to dangerous." She frets her fingers together and then smiles with a tiny flounce and sway, "You liked it! The music? They have many more songs. And they have links to other amazing artists as well. You are not alone in your love of Jazz and classical training." Despite being an Autumn she does seem pelased to have found something that Jonah enjoys.

Much of Jonah's attention is still lost in that song, and as Lunette speaks he begins tapping away at the screen. He looks away from it, if only for a moment, "Yes, I very much like this. I've just never been a fan of items made with magic, but that's due to my own experiences with them. However, I will concede that I have seen some truly amazing things with the powers and things our kind have been able to create."

Lunette's head tilts, "But at what cost?" She shakes her head, dark eyes downcast and a soft tut off her soft palet. And then she perks up again and nods heading back towards the couch. "Great. I don't want to forget you signing off though, and I will, if I don't ask right away." She bobs her head, "What, though, is your objection to their use?"

"Far too many to list in any one conversation, and I fear I may forget one from time to time." Jonah, for his part, is moving back to the table, and has grabbed a chair. He taps at a leg a few times with his foot, and gingerly begins to sit himself down. When the chair doesn't appear to be crushed under his weight he gets a bit more comfortable and sets his phone upon the table. "The simplest being that anyone and anything could use it, either by dumb luck or knowledge of its purpose. I'm also not favorable to faking it. If you can't do it, you can't do it." And there's that shameless pride to be expected of a Sun courtier.

Lunette affixes her scarves as if they were skirts, fluffing and preening them before smoothing her hair when she settles in and folds her hands in front of her. "Well, anyone can use anything by dumb luck or happenstance. Especially when it's something that's not respected properly. True some are more wrong than others but there's little difference between a Token in a Gun in hat regard." She shakes her head and clears it before smiling once more. "Faking it? I don't know, if someone stupid figured out to get an object that makes them smarter, and they were made smarter by it. It seems to me that it was earned, as much as someone who spent the time studying."

"Yes," Jonah responds with a nod. "It's still artificial to me. That person may have made the object to strengthen their wit, but what happens if they lose it? What happens if they're to be without it. As such, I rely upon what I have, what I know, and if I falter then I will call upon the aid of others and incur whatever debt I must to complete my task." He warily leans back in the chair, and when it's a sure thing that it won't break as well he gets about as comfortable as he'll ever get. "Such is how I see life."

Lunette shrugs, "The same thing that happens to everyone eventually. They stop being able to do, or be, who they were. Unless we burn bright and throw ourselves into fires.. that's what waits for us all. Withering and blowing away like a dry leave. Foof." She gestures with her hand in a fluttering motion and then brow wiggles with a suddenly mischevious smile. "You never need to apologize to me for telling me how you feel. Did I say something that made you feel that way?" Her brows tilt up and she looks worried she might have.

"I've made no apology," he notes with a slight rise and fall of his shoulders. Before continuing on he stops when the music does, and leans forward to go about finding something else. "One moment," he says with a finger raised, and shuffling over the screen with fingers on the other hand. "Aha!" and then they're surrounded with another round of music. "However, I can't say I completely understand the notions of burning out in the flames. Fire isn't so bad when you grit your teeth," and happen to be a stubborn Ogre. He somehow leaves out that obvious part.

Lunette leans back and relaxes with a sigh. "Good. I can't stand that. That people feel like they have to apologize for having an opinion that might be different. That's how the world stays interesting." She wrinkles her nose and then tilts her head. She waits patiently for him to work on finding some new music to listen to and smiles to herself. "Oh, well, I have no illusions. My desire to reach the moon will burn me up someday, some way, and that's perfectly fine because I wont regret it for a minute."

"I can agree to that ideal, but someone recently put that in a different perspective. One I couldn't see one way or the other." He leans back again, enjoying the rhythm of the music for a bit. "Tell me, Beethoven. Do you have anyone close to you? Friends? Family? What do you think they'll think or do when you flame out?"

Lunette shakes her head, "No. Not anymore, well, just the one." She flicks a finger upwards and then folds it back down with the rest with a blissful little smile on her face. "What people do when I burn out, well, I suppose if they mourn me they never really knew me. I suspect some meloncholy but I firmly believe that people who fear -death- and pain of all things, really don't know fear. Not like we do." She gestures between them. "People who mourn hard, are afraid, they're afraid there is nothing after and they will never see their loved ones again. But that's just not true; even if there is no after life there are dreams and memories." Her thought process is, as usual, meandering.

Jonah nods along as Lunette speaks. "You're the first person I've metto acknowledge such a thing, and at least partially how I see it. Truthfully, though, you may have a greater understanding of fear than I do now or ever will." Differences of Courts aside, he seems to have found much of what the woman says to be agreeable. "I've often never truly given thought to my own demise. However, I'd imagine it'll involve a lot of bloodshed or far too many stars to count."

Lunette tilts her head, "Perhaps. But you are a survivor and nothing you say will convince me otherwise. That means you've learned to fear, even if you've honed it into anger or purpose." She tilts her head, "Which is not how I experience fear. Death is fun to flirt with but I much prefer sleep, well dreaming but to most people it's the same thing. Do you think it will be so or hope it will be so, I wonder?"

"Neither," he flatly responds. "Just as the Wyrd, the wind, the sun, and the moon: it's an inescapable part of life, and one we all have to accept one way or the other. I know it lies there, somewhere at the end of the tunnel. I just don't know where, nor how I'll approach the exit from this plane of existence. I may yet have an even longer life ahead of me, or, simply put, my flame could be snuffed out tomorrow. What about you?"

Lunette laughs, truly surprise and she lifts her hands clapping them, "That is the first unique answer I've ever heard to that question. Normally people say one or the other, the truely dedicated and foolish say both. You are extrodinary." She delights to herself and then looks at the clock just as her phone starts to buzz and she nods. "I have a shift at the Laundromat to get to and dirty clothing, I'm afraid, waits for no man. My time? I know it.. It's not all it's cracked up to be." She winks, or perhaps not, her lids move so fast it's often little more than a flutter unless she's thinking. "It's been an unexpected pleasure to see you again. Have a good morning.." And she's up and flouncing out. There is time for a farewell though.
