Overview
You've seen him on the news. The front page of the papers. Hell, maybe you watched that tv movie about him or read one of those books. Detective Danny Rails was a big shit super cop that seems to have lived a trilogy worth of action mayhem. He's lost partners, loved ones, pets and a toe to protect Fort Brunsett. Taken down drug rings, beat up bad guys on burning rooftops, he even defused a bomb with seconds to spare.
He was also Taken. Forced into all out, nightmarish warfare under Dread Commander Sof. Months felt like years. When he came out the other side, near broken and rattled, he was put on desk duty. He thought it was a death sentence. That is, until the city forcibly transfered him to Tamarack Falls. A quiet town to ride out his days, they said. Another reward for his service, they said. He's still pretty sure this is all because of that building he brought down on Christmas.
RP Hooks
- TFPD: Detective Danny Rails, newly transfered from Fort Brunsett. He's a little sore about that but has decided to make the best of it for the time being.
- Hero of the Day(Fame 3): Rails has found more than his fair share of action and adventure. He's gotten medals, parades and movie offers for the chaotic string of events he calls a life. National news. World wide recognition. It opens some doors but it draws some bad mojo his way too.
- A New Challenger!: With the spotlight on him so many times, Danny has become a magnet for people with something to prove. He's had hits put out on him, been targeted by terrorists and monsters alike. It just never ends. Want to make a name for yourself?
- Fae-Touched: He spent some time on the other side. Not enough to change him as much as others but enough to alter him more than some. He knows the score and he's been a part of Changeling shenanigans for years now.
- Dread Commander Sof: Danny doesn't like to talk about what happened in The Fray. It's a scar far deeper than the skin and he wasn't there near as long as others. They'd understand.
- Harvestman: Detective Rails has been a Harvestman for nearly a year now. His talents and connections as an investigator are helpful but it's probably the fact that he's a hurricane of mayhem that seen him score a spot as a Private so fast.
- Gym Rat: Danny spends atleast an hour or two every other night at the gym. This temple didn't come pre-made, you know. Need a spotter?
- The Comics: He's been collecting comic books since he could read. His collection is impressive and near obsessively maintained. Most wouldn't expect it but he's got a brain full of the old stories and panels.
- Decorated: He's gotten medals. Even a key to the city. The Golden Boy of FB. All for Truth, Justice and the American Way.
