MN11 - Mischance Mine - Tunnel
The tunnel here pursues a long and winding course along what was once a very good vein of ore, from the looks of it, its sides broadening in some places into flat platforms where more was dug out, more deeply than the rest. That these platforms have been used as nests for various animals is also abundantly clear from the twigs and branches stacked there.
That these platforms have been used as nests for human beings, too... also evident, seeing as there are vertical shafts up to the surface for air flow with any number of smoke stains about the opening, soot on the cave floor and fire-blackened stones. During daylight, a faint glimmer of light is visible from the tunnel to the southeast.
