A Favor Returned

"You....dropped this."

Participants

Evin and Ginessa

2017.08.29

A walk in the park and a lost scarf mean a meeting between two people.

Location

Frog Haven Park

Its a balmy Summer's evening, and the sun is only now kissing the horizon. Evin finds himself sat on a park bench after a fairly succesful days playing on the city streets... He's not playing for an audience now though, he's playing for practise and to amuse himself. Individually picked notes float out on the evening air.. Some Spanish piece, his fingers dancing across the frets.

His head bent in concentration, Evin is lost to the world, seemingly living in the musical moment...Just him and his battered looking acoustic guitar.

And as luck would have it this is a warm evening that Ginessa is strolling through the park. Enjoying the sights and the sounds. Though the sound of the guitar does draw her feet to head down a different path than her normal one this evening. The raven haired woman gives a smile as the man comes into view and he plays. He's so engrossed in his work that he probably doesn't see that crimson smile. But she doesn't stop, she keeps walking past him.

And a few seconds later there's a breeze that blows, sending a small scarf blowing lightly from purse of the raven haired woman. It goes tumbling over the ground until it's at Evin's feet. But the lady hasn't noticed it being gone yet.

The haunting melody that was playing? Its gone moments later as the Scotsman leans down to retrieve the scraf from the ground. Rising he hurries after the retresting form of the woman, guitar in one hand, scarf dangling loosley in the other. Evin thinks to call out instantly, but male instincts keep him quiet as he takes a moment to admire the shapely ass swayed by a rhythmic hip movement as Ginessa walks... He appreciates what he can see, consoling himself with the thought that usually a shape this good from the back turns into a disappointment when they turn around...

Eventually though he can't hold off any longer and calling "Eh, Excuse me Miss" He tries to draw Ginessa's attention. The accent plain from the first syllable he utters.

There's a quirk of one elegant black eyebrow as Ginessa hears the sound of that accented voice and she stops. She turns a bit to look at him, her icy blue eyes looking to the man in a way that's half predator sizing up prey and the other inquisitive. Then she smiles, "Can I help you?" she asks him. Her voice is crisp, but not in an annoyed way. She just speaks like that.

If there's a hint of predator about her, Evin hasn't noticed, he's too busy trying to find his voice again as he more or less gawps at the beauty who'd turned to address him. Mutely he holds up his hand with her scarf interlaced with his fingers... Belatedly he adds "Erm, I believe you dropped this Miss." He can't help but feel self conscious about his own appearances when stood in the shadow of someone with such presence!

Ginessa's gaze softens when she sees what Evin is trying to return. Though she has noticed his sudden lack of being able to process and she gives a bit of a bashful look away before her hand moves to reclaim the scarf. "How silly of me to leave my purse open after work." she states softly. Her fingers brush against his as the silk slips through his fingers and finally it's gone. "Thank you for returning that, Mister...?" she asks his name. To try to bring him back from his momentary stunned silence.

There's a small shiver at the brief contact.. That moment of almost static shock as flesh touches flesh when it wasn't expected... "Uh.. Wright.." He supplies to the delicately phrased request.. "Um.. But I generally just go by Evin." A momentary pause and he adds, "Glad you got it back, it looked expensive..." In fact now he thinks about it, everything about this woman looks expensive.

Giving his t shirt a gentle tug at the hem to try and 'pull out' any of the creases in it, he offers the dazzlign woman a somewhat uncertain smile... Normally he's so confident, but there's just /something/ about her aura. Its fair to say Evin has never met a woman quite like Ginessa!

Dreadfully expensive! Everything that had to do with Gin was. But there's nothing over the top about the way she's dressed. While it might be a more demure style, it's expensive fabrics in rich jewel tones. Things that are quality. Even her dainty Jimmy Choos are amazing. There's a smile to him and she slips the scarf back into her purse, "Thank you, Evin." she states. Then she slips a small leather clutch and opens it. A crisp fifty dollar bill is pulled out and handed to him, "I insist that you take this. I would have been so upset had I made it home and realized my favorite scarf was missing." she tells him with a bright smile.

Looking at the money the Scotsman shakes his head "Och no, it was my pleasure to make sure ye got it back. There's no need tae waste yer money on me Miss." It isn't difficult to note that as he gets a little agitated his accent thickens. Lifting up the guitar by its neck he adds, "Asides, I've made plenty today playin this wee thing. I'll no be short on beer tonight." A more confident grin plastering itself across his features as he talks about his passion. Music.

"I said I insisted." Ginessa states with a perfectly pleased smile as she steps a bit closer. The bill is folded and then slipped into the pocket on the front of his jeans, bringing her close enough to where he can catch the scent of Scottish heather. "Think of it as a prepayment for a performance sometime." she tells him. Then she steps back, giving him space again, "I'm Ginessa. My friends call me Gin if they like. It's nice to meet you, Evin." she grins.

There's every chance this woman knows exactly the power she has.. If not? Well the way Evin goes temporarily still and swallows hard at her proximity might just give the game away... Not to mention /that/ scent which he catches as she slides the money into his jean pocket.. THAT proximity setting in motion a cascade of neuron firings in Evin's head.. To the point he has to think abotu cold showers and other unpleasant things just to keep any semblance of control!

"Future payment?" He asks faintly quizzically.. A sense of disappointment flooding through him as Gin steps back again.. "Gladly" He adds, seeing this as an opportunity to see this vision again.. "I mean, I play at a couple of the local bars here abouts. Happily tell you where..." He leaves the statement hanging deliberately in case she had somewhere else in mind.

Ginessa gives a smile to him and nods, "Yes, I will look you up and have you play sometime." she tells him. There's a bit of a nod to him when he states that he'd be glad to, "Perfect." she muses. Then she looks curiously, "There's a place called The Speakeasy. A lot of blue collared people go there, might be a good place to get an audience." she offers with a look over his guitar and then back to his eyes. "Where are you playing currently?" she asks.

"The Speakeasy? Aye I'll have to check it out, I've noticed it since hitting the city, but no been in there yet." When Gin asks about other places he reels off a couple of mid level bars of no particular consequence in the city. "I just get work as an where I can to be fair" He admits. "When I've no got a gig, I just go buskign to make up the pennies...So far it seems tae work pretty well!"

Again his smile is much less strained and there's a certain sense of being laid back when he's talking about his element. "Tell ya what, you suggest where, and I'll happily come play for you. How does that sound?"

"I think you'd like it." Gin tells him easily. Not giving anything away really. Then she gives a nod to the places he's playing, "Not bad places." she smiles. "Do you have a place to stay and all of that? I'm guessing you do, but hate to leave people out on the street." she frowns at that. Then she gives a soft smile, "Sure. You can meet me here." she states as she pulls out a business card. "I hate to chat and run, but I must be going. Thank you again for saving my scarf, Evin." she gives him a bright smile.

"Aye I've a place.. But of a dive, but its got a bed so.. I cannae complain." The business card is snagged and pocketed in the same jean pocket where the crisp bill was so recently deposited. "Its been a pleasure tae meet you Miss.. I mean .. Ginessa. Look forward to seeing you again"

Ginessa knows full well from his tone, he really is looking forward to bumping into her again. With a nod and a smile the Scotsman watches as the beguiling woman walks away, taking plenty of time to drink in the sight of her ass lovingly hugged by her expensive skirt!
