H09 - Hedge - Looptrail - The Long Walk
Seemingly interminable, dark and much of a sameness, there are very few landmarks of note along the stretch of trod which delves through the valleys, slight slopes up and down becoming an exciting change -- a flower in the thorns, a different twist, is infinite relief upon the endless briar-bordered labyrinth.
Endless, that is, until it takes a sharp turn to avoid leading its occupants straight off a cliff.
Broken equipment and moss-covered bone are silent proof that not all travelers have seen the trod's new destination, switchback down the cliff at a slightly lower altitude, boulders blocking the view from above.
