Her Dark Queendom of the Untold Depths

Believing Herself to be a Sea Goddess, Her Dark Queendom of the Untold Depths takes delight in cultivating a menagerie of creatures both deadly and fulfilling of Her own ideas of 'beauty.'

Description

Her Dark Queendom of the Untold Depths is a Keeper who believes Herself a Goddess of the deep sea. She lives amid her ‘children,’ including those Lost which She has crafted into denizens of the deep, some sinewy and sharp, others bioluminescent and beautiful. She clearly believes in the mercilessness of nature, and it is rare for Her to have a creation that cannot protect itself in some way. Always seeking to expand Her domain, She uses many ploys to lure in the unwary - from shipwrecks to sirens to the tantalizing ‘rare sightings’ for those of an exploratory bent.

Realm

The Depths From dimly-lit depths filled with wondrous and twisted creatures of bioluminescence, spines, fins, and teeth to the windy, steel-grey skied, storm tossed surface of the open sea, Her Dark Queendom's realm encompasses and emphasizes the fierce and often cruel aspects of the ocean and its environs.

Methodology

The ocean is unforgiving, and those who serve one who believes Herself the Goddess of Sea are expected to quite literally sink or swim.

Victims are chosen based on their familiarity with the ocean - those who live or work on or near it are in the best position to understand that the sea is cold and harsh and merciless, and those who inhabit it and its environs are doubly likely to be so; Her Dark Queendom has little use or patience for those who fear it.

Suggested Themes for Escapees

Elementals of the sea, wind, and storms; deep sea monsters and their prey; water dragons and sirens; lurkers in deep, watery caves.
