Background

Morrigan MacIntyre was born in Scotland in the early 1900's. Her family had a history of bad luck. Her father died when she was five years old and her mother met an American man and married him. Even though her mother was married to an American, they were basically unwelcomed by his family when they arrived. Much to her mother's horror, her new husband tossed her and her young daughter out on the street. Given their heritage, they were not treated kindly. Morrigan's mother fell ill a few months after their being kicked out. There wasn't much that could be done with little money.

Morrigan basically did the only thing she could to survive and that was steal for her and her mother. She learned her survival for other homeless and she had many times where she was almost caught. She did meet someone that helped her though, treated her like a daughter. But one day she did get caught. She was sentenced to do time in jail. Just a year and as a teen. When she was released, her mother was dead. The man that had been like a father to her took her in. But that fairy tale was short lived. She was taken from her bed in the middle of the night. Her father had sold her to a man. But it wasn't just any man. It was a loyalist. One that worked for her soon to be Keeper, The Mountain That Walks.

Morrigan grew up in the shadow of the mountain. She wasn't old enough to be of real use. So she learned the territory and the horrors. She learned to live off of the land, learning the plants were more than enough for her to live off of. She started to grow and to change. Her ears becoming like those of a classical elf. Her years went on and she started to learn that if she came across poachers that she could heal herself from taking bits of their life. And then the time came for her to be taken to the Mountain. Morrigan was having NONE OF IT. She had to get away and she tried her best to. She figured that she could lose them in the cliffs, but that didn't happen. She ended up cornered. She managed to knock one out and she went over the cliff with the other one. They hit a hedge gate and both ended up in the real world in 2003. Morrigan managed to gain consciousness before she bled to death, her arm was broken and the thorns had taken a lot of blood. She left the other there to die.

A member of the Miami freehold found her and nursed her back to health. They helped her get a new identity and a new lease on life. Even if everything else was taken from her. After four years, she moved to Vermont and found her way to Fate's Harvest. One thing is for sure, the woman trusts absolutely no one. It's just the way her life has turned out. Her two trusted friends are two hedge beast ravens that she's dubbed Huginn and Muninn. They are generally with her given she likes the outdoors more than being cooped up inside. She has no Court and that solidified when she joined the Margravate of the Brim. When Fate's Harvest was brought together a year ago, she was there to do the work for charting out their lands and all those things.
